Tool - Adam Jones Top 10 Guitar Riffs
Tool is one of the best bands in music history for me. It was a great experince for me to record Tool best guitar riffs and I learned a lot from iconic guitar player Adam Jones and amazing band Tool.
To nail their sound (because of my respect too) I didn't to try record all the instruments, I tried to remove guitar tracks from the original tracks as much as I can and record the guitars. For guitar recordings I used Fractal Audio Axe-FX III.

I always say 10,000 Days is their best album and everyone hates on me. Riffs are insane on that album. Fear Inoculum is right there with it for me though i absolutely love that album holy crap

@jindabaadarchive that's a great opinion too! Many amazing songs on that album. Liked it alot more when i was in a different place in life. Same with Lateralus. Those albums are both very dark which I'm not always in the mood for now. I can listen to FI and 10,000 days pretty much on repeat all the time. Their albums feel like a progression of maturity to me and I think that's why FI is really 90% of what I listen to now.
"everyone hates on me" lol sounds like tool fans, they really are tools. They complain so much about the band its almost like they're haters

@cringe_person0855 well let's say if someone is trying to learn the song, and most videos of it show it played wrong, then they're not learning the song the right way. Which I saw a lot of. So it's like a breath of fresh air when someone plays it right
I love all the Tool albums for different reasons. Been a fan since the mid 90s. You ended on Tool’s best song IMHO. Laturalus is Tool’s Mona Lisa ❤❤❤
If it’s not Lateralus it’s The Grudge IMO.
Lateralus blows. Tempest is better than every song on Lateralus put together.

Ahhhhhhhh what is that tone man!!! I really love how full it sounds, your playing is also nice and clean! The transition from Aenima to Right in Two was nutttttyyyyyyy!!
P.s. I've got a decent tone for myself with a boss katana mk2 finally, but no matter what I try..I can never get that "twang" in my tone. Like in Vicarious or Right in Two when you play that low D string (especially in Right in Two) it makes that really awesome twang sound, which I think you've nailed perfectly. I think I'll never be able to get it to sound like that. Anyway I really enjoyed watching this video. Cheers man!

How I see their music- I don't have a favorite album. I have favorite songs, and their all on every album. There are no other musical talent where I can do that with, except Tool.
try to listen to the Album "The great cold distance" by Katatonia, they're not very popular but very similar to tool in that regard. That album is one of my favourites.

Yep, Marshall and VH4 is right. Never had both at the same time but separately they each sounded like 80% of the way there.
