OMG, how did i miss this? thank goodness it came up on my feed. Poor Tony he doesnt look impressed! 😱 that is a hell hole what a sketchy mine interesting to know if anyone been in since. I'm no expert but i think it wants sealing up. Extremely exciting explore though lads. ❤👍
Thanks, yes, still one of the toughest we know, nobody been in since that we know but there has been seen to have been a partial collapse at the entrance.
👷🧔 fantastic beautyfull savage on the outside ❤ love it ! At the beginning of the mine the cameracolours made brilliant difference in the wallstones grey blue brown ... realy pictures like a fantasycomic , best pictures came all the time the camera was not to fast moved or not to fast turned than all colours and details are very brilliant . 🧔👷⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐📽️👍. Thank for publishing the Video 😅
Gday again from Australia lads and holy shit that is one tough explore. Parts of it looked like badly bombed WW2 trenches. Amazingly clear video and audio for such a tough environment. One of your best episodes yet.
Thanks Qld, was a constant battle to keep the lens clear, I carry a cloth but that git soaked and my hands and coveralls were filthy so cleaning it took patience. It's a tough explore.
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores I loved the banter with the last guy to join you in the adit. The same guy wasn't helped under a collapse whilst you provided commentary. Ha ha. It's clear you guys are comfortable in such a tough environment. Stay safe & keep up the great work.
Naa, your wrong, you see we've worked out that is the incline at the end that leads to a major mine so the plan is to empty s bottle of wine into that water, then I'll drink it all up! ;)
Amazing to think this was worked in the 1970's. It must have been what the Americans would call a 'wildcat' operation. I clearly remember Bonfire Night 1980 as well!
A mix of research and experience. Just because they don't show on maps doesn't mean they aren't there. But, we are following the horse level, it's extremely rare for a sump yo be found in a horse level as it usually goes under and to one side of the vein, so sumps are usually found at the ends of short, branches going off, infact you see a shaft example of that in this video. So if uiu see our other videos when we see short off branches that are flooded and seemingly go nowhere we don't go down just for that reason.
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores thanks for the explanation! I'm new to checking out mines, been getting into it for past 3 years, lucky to be in Wiltshire with all the relatively safe Bath stone mines, what you did in this video blew my mind, good mix of fear and excitement!
No. Just no. Sorry guys, you would NOT get me going down into the depths of hell like that! One good thing though, I guess there's not many spiders down there? Stay safe.
You said “we do it so you don’t have to!” No shit Sherlock. I’ve been in caves but never anywhere as grotty as that place. Great work though lads, love the vids. Wonder what that pipe with the Venturi on it was for?
Well, dome people will/have done it ;) The pipes were usually for compressed air or fresh air. With the valve, and compressor tanks I suggest these were for compressed air. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Looks mega dangerous guys stay safe which you will but a stunning ole mine my friend's and thanks for your time muchly appreciated
Thanks Ritchie, hopefully will never get this bad again, although srt scares the crap out of me, glad you enjoyed :)
thanks for taking the time to film this, grate video.
Thankyou, glad you enjoyed and thanks for the feedback :)

Yes, it's one big obstacle course in there, good for your fitness lol.

Wow now that's extreme mine exploring, thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💞
Thankyou, it's about as rough as it gets :)
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores hmmmm so I saw, it's aptly named lol. xx
It’s a nice footage for the records , because you’ll never see me in that one again 😂

Yes, it deteriorated rather fast. It has a brother we are attempting to locate too.
Just drain the mine already! Perfect portal to dig out for an hour and then walk through it.
Naa, the water is most of the fun!!
Amazing mine
It's definitely unique in our area :)
It looks like it's in a bad way this one Ste great video though glad Tony liked it
Yep, it's a rough bugger, this was our third attempt :)
great explore, i would crap myself in there with all that water.
For the first few years I mine explored, you wouldn't have git me in there but its an environment you become accustomed too :)
Had to cast this on to the TV so I could experience the full horror!!!
Probably a larger screen than I edited it on then lol, although, I did get to see the origional ;) Did the horror work?
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores yup! 😱
Pretty damn cool, I'd never go in there though :)
Yep, takes quite a bit of experience to explore places like that!
How do you know there are no vertical shafts hidden in the water ? from the style of the mine ? Old surveys ? Or suck it and see?

What are all the wires used for?
The bare one likely for a signalling system.
You have to go up that ladder!
Have to save a little for next time :)
I'm getting clostrophobia just watching
So was I the first time, this was third attempt lucky, just like in our latest video where we drop the stone lined shaft :)
I'd be happy to check out that mine, but I think my wife would disown me. Something about wanting to finish paying off the house first! ;-)
That's why I have 300k of life insuranceol
You must be mad or have a Deathwish to enter this mine - it should be closed and sealed.
Neither, only take people with lots of training, education and experience in locations like these whi can read both the environmrnt and the rocks.
No. Just no. Sorry guys, you would NOT get me going down into the depths of hell like that! One good thing though, I guess there's not many spiders down there? Stay safe.
Yes, exploring these kind if places is definitely an acquired taste. I didn't notice any but wasn't looking either lol
I doubt there will be many mine explorers after you guys. That is one shitty mine.. Tony.. " suck it up".🤯🤯
Lolol, yep, not many ho there. Bad air stops most, this was our third attempt.

At least they are in solid rock, mainly
And I thought exploring Cornish tin mines was sketchy...
Yep this one is a rough bugger, j got kissed by falling rocks a couple if times.
moister than an oyster
Ahahaha. Csomething I've never eaten :)
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores same here, they are about as appealing as snot on toast :D
Do we have a face to the voice please
We don't.
Is that because what you’re doing is illegal or you look like a tall Tom cruise?
