1833!!! Incredible! ... imagine explaining to him that in 200 years there would be an entire hobby of exploring and documenting abandoned mines, with 10's of thousands of people watching! Tha black arch of Doom was impressive! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Your welcome, thanks. I've actually read accounts from when the mines were active and there were Victoria's who were given tours of the mines even Victoria herself, so there has always been an interest :)
Thanks, yes, I think that with other mine exploration channels when I don't see stuff for a while, hopefully recording another one later today in some unexplored, but very wet mines.
To be honest, the actual sound quality of the bit with water in the mic was better than before the ingress, seemed to cut out the Bassy echo, I could hear you better ! Might be worth investing in a more appropriate cam mic.
I prefer he mic to reflect the environment, gives a more genuine experience, I hear you about the bass, but as in everything in life, it's all a fine balance and your never going to get it perfect :)
It's actually a diving torch, it's been running on some old and fake batteries, just got some brand new, expensive batteries for it so it should be even better :)
It's great that these mines are being caught on video before they are lost. Merry Christmas from cassadaga N.Y. in the U.S.A.
Thanks, Merry Christmas to you too :)

At around 10:12 there is a creepy and raspy voice. Sounds a bit chilling.
Ahh, that's our resident mine demon, if you look closer, you can see him ;)
