Is there a reason you didn’t butter them brick and shoved in mortor with a trowel ? Can you elaborate also a video you did with no buster joint on a corbel pop out brick 🧱 seems a buttered perp would hold it in very nice
I was thinking the same thing for a guy who obviously takes no shortcuts I'm surprised he doesn't double butter the closure I was taught that that is extremely important and you can't replicate it buy just slushing in the empty end joint
Really like your videos mate and one bricklayer to another I’d love to pick your brains to learn more off you I’d there anyway I could message you privately on something?thanks Ste
I used to use a WHS leather butt , but I picked up a trowel one day inB& Q of all places and liked it, it’s a Ragni it feels really good, so that’s what I’m using at the moment, cheers for watching 👍
@@brickbybric I think you can have the most expensive trowel or the biggest in the world, but if it doesn’t feel right it’s no good, I just feel comfortable with this trowel no real cost to it , 👍👍🧱
mite of worked better to reverse the bond on the block's would of done away with having two quarters in the cavity and a full 3/4 bonding into the the blocks.....
You ain't the fastest bricklayer on here (but you know that) but you are definitely the most thorough, everything is spot on every time.
Many thanks for watching 👍

A TH-cam bricklayer with full perps, what is this witchcraft!!!!
He doesn’t fill the perp joints when he lays bricks sometimes I’m Tryn to figure out why
I have watched one of your videos. Can I get a certificate that I was taught by Budd to be a bricklayer ? or from the School of Budd ?
What trowel you use bud

They are decent trowels bud . And it proves the point that a welded trowel can be just as good as a one piece forged trowel .

@@brickbybric u can get them solid forged as well. Ragni Crown, cost around 30 quid. Been using them for years.
@@wolfganghachmuth5419 how’s things Wolfgang . Yes they are decent I’ve had a few of the one piece forged ones through me hands

God help you on price work on site work budd, you would be lucky to earn 40 pound a day at that rate of laying
incorrect, you should have used a three quarter and a half, you never use less than a half brick in stretcher bond, the work is nice and neat
Wall ties?
