Незнаю кто этот человек но он лучший мастер своего дела из всех каменщиков которых видел на ютубе да и вообще он такие вещи творит невозможные - одним словом гений кладки !
I could watch you work non-stop! It’s humbling to watch a master plodding along and chewing through the work. Your brickwork is as close to perfection as exists!
Two good East Anglian colours Rob. If you have time could you send me details to your workshop please. I'd love to pop down sometime and lay some bricks. Thanks Dave
these are Imperial Reds from HG Matthews, but we also use imperial bricks from the Imperial Brick Company, Bulmer Bricks and we are now looking at Sussex Brick as well, all of them are good, but the prices vary greatly, so check them all out before you choose.
All the positive comments are from people with no masonry experience, believe me laying half bricks and placing the level on every single brick is not a good habit to have as bricklayer. Using a masonry line is much more effective!
ummm, please take note of the title of this video, 'Courtyard Update 7'.. 'Curved English Bond' the whole of the courtyard is a horseshoe shape with a varying radius, the section you see here is on the slightest. May I suggest you watch the previous 6 videos which lead onto this one. Thank you
yes we use plumb lines a lot on what we do, but here the run is so short that any lines would make using a level very difficult and there was no easy way of fixing a template above us to run a line to, so this was the most effective way. Please watch the Octagonal Chinmey stack and the Dodecahedron Fireplace to see us using plumb lines. Thank you for watching.
Best bricklayer on TH-cam.absolute genius with stunning work produced.very clever man I love your work

Nice bit of English there Rob 🧱🧱🧱😁🤙🏽
One of the greatest artworks in the real world. Awesome work Rob! 👏💯
Hello Rob your left hand is better than Messi's left foot.
Thank you very much Rob.
geeeez about time Rob. thought you'd deserted us pal. bang on Rob. stay safe and stay free, oh first comment.
Excelente trabajo felicidades 👊🧱👏💪👌🏻💯
Must be an absolute minimal curve on that wall, Rob. Looks all but straight from the angle of the camera.
There's about a 15mm in 1m camber on this section. At the other end it was 46mm in the span of a 2300mm arch
Rob, you need to try the elastic lines I use in this situation, saves using the level 👍
I would normally use a line but this wall is curved...
@@robsonger1 Gotcha, didn't notice that 👍
@@robsonger1 I just noticed it says curved English Bond 😁
Ur not the only one Andy who got fooled on this one ☝🏼 😂
@@andrewmorrissey8478 👍
Good to see you using your new level Rob. How is it compared to the fat max.
I'm loving it, I can't believe its taken me this long to go back to yellow...
..and I'm returning to green with my power tools..

Fantastic, what's the mix please
this is a 1:3 hydraulic lime mix
@@robsonger1 thank you. Looks superb
Best bricky in the UK, his that good, 1 metre panels and dont need lines for the songer don
Lovely work, where in the country is that courtyard Rob?
In sunny Suffolk
@@robsonger1 nice one 👍🏻
What pointing method do you use there rob and what mix is the mortar what sort of guage do they work out as in mortar bed thickness
Looks awesome 👌
Hiya, we use a weather struck joint, the mortar is a 1:3 hydraulic lime, the gauge is close to metric, using an 8mm joint
Thanks Rob 👍
Do you always work to a 8mm bed? As I’ve noticed you always have smaller beds than usual
First 😁
Hi Rob I'm searching for suitable brick at the moment and like these. Can you please post what type of brick these are? Cheers

@@robsonger1 Cheers Rob I really appreciate you posting this information.
Long enough run to use a line surely?
"Curved" English Bond
@@robsonger1 Sorry Rob . I was looking on my phone .... Couldn't see the 'curve' . 👍
So where is the curve
Please watch the Playlist - Courtyard

What I mean is when u the best no point in posting for the sake off it
set up quick string line, so much faffing about with levels and more difficult to correct mistakes as everyone is a learner even when a professional
