ok I will say one thing, I like your hounds using the wormhole idea but only because it would be hilarious if the wormhole after all the hounds come out of it suddenly closes because so many hounds jumped inside it that its literally choking on their hair only for it to spit out wet goop after you killed all the hounds
it's quite cancerous. It wasn't as bad as in Hamlet if I remember correctly, but you could kill Beequeen when Spring started to turn it off. They also made a lot of items to counteract it too
the real issue with hay fever (even in hamlet) is that it is a mechanic that you deal with by completely avoiding it, functionally if you know what you are doing the only thing it accomplishes is draining you of specific types of resources while not really changing how you play. compare this to winter or summer temperature mechanics that can be conquered, but do still ultimately change the way the season flows and feels. also having characters just flat ignore an entire mechanic is kinda just silly imo.
