Thing I always liked about Sheckler is dude was just a normal kid from Cali who had a sick style. He wasn't gimmicky or outrageous in anyway. Just a t-shirt, some normal jeans, low-tops, and a backwards cap. And his style is videogame motion-capture worthy. Idgaf what anyone says about him, dude is the truth. And hell, if you were as good as him, back in the mid 2000's and MTV was like "yo son, you want this $$$ and fame??" don't front like you wouldn't have capitalized on that shit.

I'm watching this now for the first time in 2022. I'm realizing that I just kinda wrote him off back in the day because all I heard was that he was this reality TV star/ poser boy so I never really watched much of his skating. Seeing this now, I'm completely blown away and had NO idea he was this insane... This is truly awe-inspiring shit here, some of the most badass skating I've ever seen and I've been a skating fan since the mid 90s
I am the same way, kinda heard the back lashed view people had on him int he skating community after his reality stuff he was labeled a “sellout” but dude! This guy has some of the sickest, gut-turning styled tricks ever! Deserves to be a name brought up in a HOF board.
I thought his celebrity status overshadowed his skate career, he’s always been a talented skater even watching his early footage from when he was 13 his style was already developed for being so young

Im a legit poser, i wear skate apparel and just hang at the skatepark unable to even do an ollie. Sheckler can skate lol, what the shit? Isnt being able to skateboard the criterion for being a skateboarder? People were savage in the 2000s, dial-up brought out the frustration in us all i believe.
