This video is insane. I wish more people could get the recognition that they deserve. Most of this stuff is not first try, it takes much dedication.

I loved the clip at 3:21. I'm able-bodied and I've never been able to flip a skateboard at all, much less as amazingly as that that. His smile made my night!
I also love the quick fails you toss in. Those are more what I was able to pull off when I briefly skateboarded.
this video shows that a person working for months andfinally landing a kickflip is just as insane as someone jumping a 10 stair, they both take dedication and time and both look sick!

it’s edited. its two different clips merged together. the top half is prolly just some guy doing a 360 jump while the bottom dude is doin a kickflip. edit out the top half and bottom, and boom you got this

I've never rewound a video so much in my life... had to watch these multiple times !! If this was a VCR I'd have blown it up.
I skated for years. And saw a Lot of Videos. But never did my jaw dropped Like today. What unbelieveable creativity! So much talent!
All I can say is wow.
The amount of back to back mind blowing difficult tricks has me a little speechless.

I started skating back in the late 80's and early 90's when skating was first starting its big comeback. Back when everyone pretty much skated Powell-Peralta boards, and Tony Hawk was really big, and Mike McGill, Lance Mountain and Steve Cabellero. And we hardly gave Rodney Mullen a second glance because we didn't yet realize he was going to become a skating God in just a few more years. I mostly did street skating, hitting rails and stairs and stone benches all over town. And there wasn't yet a skate park at every city park around. But watching what these guys are doing now truly boggles the mind. It's extraordinary. What I find amazing is that I know that these tricks take practice. We are not seeing the multitude of attempts at most of these. And I can't imagine being able to walk away from them when you don't land them. I can only picture serious trauma, broken bones and serious head injuries being the result of not landing them. So I don't understand how they remain among the living and healthy while they perfect these tricks.
I started skating in 86-87 and you’re right. We weren’t doing the insane stuff folks do today. My first board was a Mark Gonzalez and I got another board signed by Lance Mountain at a local demo. I was speechless ha. I always stunk at kick flips and dude, I couldn’t even count gown many flips they did in a few of them!
@@GeneBrodeJr Wow, we have something in common. My very first board was also a Mark Gonzalez, which I got in 88. It was a used board that I bought from a friend. It pretty much had no nose and the tail was at least half gone. But it was a pro board and I was thrilled to have it. I think my first 4 or 5 boards were all used boards. Skating wasn't exactly popular with the public back then, (remember it was the "Skating is not a crime" times) and so my parents weren't going to spend money on skate boards. So I had to save my allowances. I'm pretty sure my first new board was when H-Street started and I got a Tony Magnusson.
A funny story, many years after I stopped skating, probably about 10 or 12 years later,, I was working as a medic on an ambulance. We were posted at some business parking lot, and I see a bunch a kids near by skating. They were grinding some curbs and such. I walk over there and watch. I strike up a conversation with them, telling them that I skated many years ago. One of them lets me jump on their board and I said I would try one trick, and I would likely bust my ass in the attempt and they can all get a good laugh. I set up and then on my first attempt, I pull off and land a kick flip. I'm not sure who was more surprised, them or me. lol

5:07 is from a video called “Last Rock to Fakie” from 2019. David Magee was a part of the New Orleans skating community and was fatally shot near his local skatepark and this was how his friends and family honored him.
That is my favorite part of this whole video. The love and respect for him is amazing

hi love the vids im pretty new to skating any tips especially on drop ins
my favourite part was 3:51 as he coffined down a whole hill
the biggest thing is to just practice, it took me months to be able to actually ollie. For drop ins the biggest thing is to just do it, you can practice on flat ground by having the front of the board up and stomping on it. The hardest part about dropping in is being afraid to do it, once you get over that you'll see that it's easy
