On this topic, my brother, Allen Sinclair, drowned off the coast California, just north of San Francisco on 25 April, 1975,. My parents had been withdrawn from on orders from JHS a few months prior, when JHS heard about it, it was reported back to us "That it was God's judgement"!? Very cruel for us to hear, and we took no joy in the karma that followed a few months later!! Especially, as I had served in the army with his brother in Fort Sam!
I am so sorry to hear your parents were treated in this manner. It breaks my heart every time I hear that people were W/D on orders from JHS. I say this every single time I hear it whether it's JHS, JSH, BDH or any of them- W/D people is like sending them to Assembly Death. The person ordering that WILL be held responsible by God for pushing someone away from church. I don't know if that has ever been viewed as seriously as it should be!! I'm guessing you served with Vern?
@@carmandrever9443 Hi Carmen, yes, I served with Vern in Fort Sam in San Antonio during basic training. Very nice guy, really like him a lot, great fun to be with! This was during the spring, early summer, I shipped out to Germany and was in transit during the week of Aberdeen, didn't find out about it til about 3 weeks after it happened. I liked JT jr a lot, but was totally unaware of the extent of his drinking. While in Germany, I did have the opportunity to attend a 3 day meeting in Dusselldorf with JHS, it seemed to me that her just stared blankly at me, i don't know why! Up until I got to Germany, I had been a loyal little pb boy, but then "the horse got out of the gate" and I was off into the "world"!! I should id myself better, my name is Robert Sinclair, born and raised in Cincinnati ,Ohio, and moved to Boston in 1967 as the meeting in Cincinnati closed up, we were the only ones. I live outside Boston, along with 3 members of JT jr's immediate family in the area, and in touch with. John Taylor and Liz Howell, Ben Taylors kids, and Ray Taylor, JT 3rd son. Last nite, I emailed Cheryl with my thoughts about the Dennis Wragge podcast, I do not mean to rock the boat, stir the pot. Of all the previous site on the peeps, what a pleasure it is to be able to put FACES to the voices, as I mentioned to Cheryl, you have got guts, knowing full well that you are inviting litigation. I was very active, mostly background on Tim Twyman's site, and I was actually named in the lawsuit against him. Enough for now, Very best wishes, stay safe and healthy.

@@carmandrever9443 This must be so hard for you Carman, being a JHS granddaughter. He made 'shutting up' so popular and told us there wasn't much difference to 'withdrawing from'. It was hell and his way of keeping Australia in turmoil, esp those Hales guys. I have the same difficulty over memories of my grandfather. Thanks for all you guys are doing.

I served withVern in the army in Fort Sam in the summer of 1970, my name is Robert (Bob) Sinclair from Boston now!! I really enjoyed his company, along with Tim and Edith Congdon, Gerry Giekin, Clay Sitorios, and Dave Jensen while stationed there!

That was interesting. It always felt like there was something we weren't supposed to know about Ken's death.
Pretty sad that they couldn't just let the truth come out and then deal with it. The hidden lies will take them all down and sadly it shouldn't be like that in a "mainstream Christian church."
Thats some really bad good stuff. I had spent a good few visits with David Gracey from about 1995ish (if I recall) until a week or so before his death. He told me about the JHS visit and threat to the "two brothers" if they should ever breath a word about "this conversation". Falling pf my chair with Lanes antics....what with tongue locks, butt grabs, hugs and all... The biggest problem with this one is the dinosauers. They are only 100 million years bygone, not 165.
That is so interesting!! I think it is abhorrent what was done to him. I absolutely believe JHS did Roy the biggest disservice by deciding to cover that up. How he expected that to stay hidden is more than I will ever know. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, BUT RATHER EXPOSE THEM. Ephesians 5:11

I am sorry for your loss but I have to think those are some big allegations unless you were actually present at the time of your Dad’s death especially when both parties are not alive to answer the allegations. A former disgruntled employee is a stretch to depend on his word. Why wasn’t this addressed before Roy died which was not long ago. I have a hard time on the timing of this podcast. Also the gentleman said Roy divorced his wife but according to court records, she divorced him so that is incorrect information: Case No. 34-90-C-10770 Sharon is plaintiff and Roy is the defendant. Again why address a month after he died?? Please check records before you speak falsely. I am all for delving into things but the information needs to be solid and fact driven not here say from a disgruntled employee. Again it’s terrible to lose a parent and am very sorry for your loss.
Hi Deanna - I’ve messaged you privately but for our viewers- Roy Symington passed 6 months ago. He was presented with these facts and did not deny them. If Sharon was the one that divorced him- I’m sure she did so with grounds to do so. If someone misspoke- that could be? That is why this podcast is a conversation. But again- The words I presented were Roy’s own words. You don’t have to be there to repeat Roy’s own words. As far as a disgruntled employee- not sure who you are referring to- not sure it’s relevant. Roy spoke himself.

As it has been proved time and again over the last decades that the so called 'Man of God' is nothing of the sort and in each case his absolute power over his subservient, naive and unworldly flock goes to his head.
It is surely time for those who can, within the cult, to rise up and put an end to the regime or just leave. It is possible to leave and have nothing - no money, friends or job, but at least today there are probably more of us out than in, to help and support you all.
