But when any white country or country they consider white (whilst ignoring hate against Jewish People who were massacred by white German nationalists in the 1930s and 40s) does something bad they are ready to reck havoc.

Under what context is it possible to call for the genocide of Blacks and not violate Harvard's standards? "If it becomes converted into action?" So you it's"just words" until someone gets hurt? Sorry I wasn't clear. "Lynching of Blacks" in this context, IS equivalent to "killing members of an ethnic group BECAUSE of their ethnicity". In my example, members are "Blacks" but in the question posed to Gay, "Jews". They are either both morally reprehensible or both "context dependent." Waiting until that escalates into conduct is equally morally reprehensible. I was just bringing the subject a bit closer to home for Gay, since she didn't seem to get it when it concerned Jews. As suggested by Steve Pinker, Gay holds her position at Harvard because of DEI. Full stop. It's an embarrassment.. @@OctavianAsix

So, let me get it straight.
They don't do a process of examination and declining speakers that are being invited to their universities.
At most they will issue a statement against rethorics they do not agree with but will still give them a stage and time to educate their students in those subjects.
So, it seems to me that if someone were to invite Hitler to speak at their university they wouldn't deny him his stage and in the best case they will just make a statement that they don't agree with his views.
But will still provide him with the stage and time to educate and poison their students with his views.
No wonder they are a thriving ground for the epidemic of antisemitism and hate.

To say that " calling for the genocide of jews", which is incitement to violence, which is harassment, which is basically one of the most horrendous statements a person can make, which is an obvious example of hate speech, would need to depend on context in order to be considered hate speech or a violation of codes of conduct? That is SUCH an academic BS response. Something a lawyer or postmodern philosopher would say. Super sad. And obviously wrong.
And the funniest part is, its them OBVIOUSLY attempting to not say the wrong thing by being vague about it. " oh we dont know what that would be, it would depend on context and an investigation and a bunch of people to figure out if " calling for the genocide of a minority" violates university policies.". They dug their own grave.
    And whats EVEN FUNNIER is,

Anything that “can” lead to actions of hate and racism. Is this so hard to understand?
Do you think that calling death to Zionists, etc…, doesn’t bring violence? What about screaming “death to Russia”, would that not lead to violence? I think it’s obvious what kind of language leads to “actions”!
If in doubt, maybe desist? Maybe universities should stay out of one sided controversies? To report both sides, to do cold historical research, is SO important rather than creating hateful rhetoric.
If we’re just opinions about Zionism or peaceful debate, it’s actually encouraged. When writing a one way letter condemning Israel at the time that Hamas killed over one thousand people without condemning Hamas, it’s beyond not acceptable!

Ive been an academic for35 years and i am horrified, not only at what is happening at these elite institutions, but also everywhere in higher education. The scourge of wokeness has taken over many faculties and administrations, with the result that students are only ever exposed to one point of view. If you're a faculty member, pushing back against the official dogma will get you fired or, at least, cancelled or denied promotion. Universities in the US have lost the the idea of the Academy.

If this was about LGBTQ, these college leaders would have an entirely different take. When I think about Palestinians, I remember Munich in the Summer of 1972. The calling for the destruction of Israel and the genocide of Jews is a call to violence. There is no way that inciting violence, which these schools are allowing, can be considered protected. Once you call for genocide, and rally around that idea, you have just yelled "fire" in a crowded theatre. I was fortunate to have received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees online, where I could focus on academics, and not what my fellow student's believe about unrelated issues or worrying about someone wanting me dead. All students should be afforded the opportunity to study in an environment that fosters knowledge.

Yeah, saying from the river to the sea is just calling for their expulsion is like saying that Hitler calling for the elimination of Jewish people from Europe was *just* a call to boot them to another continent. Well maybe, but look at what they did when they didn't get their way. There's inherently a lot of hatred behind a statement like that. Potentially genocidal hatred. When asked about ideological diverstiy on campuses , the response was that there is racial diversity.
Racial diversity is not the same as ideological diversity. This hearing is because certain Ideologies have now been shown to create antisemitism. As a person observing from a neutral stance.
The numbers show that colleges with very high levels of liberal/leftist proffesors create high levels of antisemitism and pro terrorist/sympathising on campuses. The numbers dont lie and the proof is in the pudding. Should those colleges lose funding unless they have ideological diversity which means including more Conservitive proffesors and views ?
I feel the blame is also on the conservatives for not having a stronger push and clearer voices to respresent and push back on the subject. The left is fighting a much fiercer ideologcal war and conservatives seem to be very laid back based on the numbers that over 90% are liberal proffessors and 2% are conservative in this particular case , that represents the pattern at other colleges.
Does this also mean there is a clear connection between the political leftist ideology and antisemistim/pro terrorism/ mob violence and weak law enforcement? Help me understand
