It is amazing how those who think calling for the genocide of the Jewish people is not antisemitism or hate speech but protected speech under the constitution, but not calling someone by their preferred pronouns, or going along with their ideology, is hate speech and bigotry. If these 'protestors' where calling for the killing of Blacks or any other group of people, it would be stopped immediately. Israel is NOT committing genocide, if they were they would not be giving warning before going into areas, they would not be providing shelter and food for those in Rafa and Gaza. Apparently going into sleeping communities on a Sabbath mornings, filming yourself butchering, raping to death, burning alive babies, elderly, women and men is not considered genocide, but defending your people from the people who do such things and have said opening they WILL do it again is.

I have many close friends who are Jewish and love them and would not want to see anyone attack them but you cant teach just from one side and make this issue just about those that are Jewish because all that does is said to children of Palestinian decent that they don't matter. There are two sides to this story, each feels that they have been wronged. This is complex and needs to be talked about without pointing fingers. Education, history and lots of conversation.

Two committee members ask if students have been fired. "We dont fire students." Lol. One of these government officials seems really convinced that teachers are teaching hate. Hard for me to imagine teachers doing such a thing. Considering laws are currently being passed defining antisemitism in congress, there might be some learning curve. For instance, if the map the teacher posted was from a historical period over a century ago, the map would have been historically accurate, not anti-semitic. It's not clear, because so much time is spent calling for firings and talking AT and OVER these educators who came in to testify (rather than listening to them).
The "stop bombing babies" statement doesn't seem remotely antisemitic. A bit bizarre, and a rather low bar, but seems like good universal advice and many countries should take it.

All kids need to feel safe in schools. Our Muslim kids, Jewish kids, black and brown kids. LGBTQIA kids, the female students. All of our kids need safety. They also need to know what is going on in the world and learn critical thinking skills and exercise their right to free speech and fight for injustice. We need leaders in the world that are not only kind and compassionate but not afraid to speak against injustice rather than being stifled.
