Eh, i would say that nothing works when he’s not in love with you. My boyfriend said “i’m not looking for a relationship.” We were truly friends. Nothing physical. And i did nothing to chase him. We still talked and hung out. But we both fell in love. There was a day where he said “i love you. I want to make you happy.” It’s the most wonderful relationship i’ve ever had. I think the key is not chasing and being honest with your standards. He knew i would not get involved with a man that didn’t want a serious relationship. It was months before he got up the courage to say he loved me. It’s been fantastic ever since.

When i was getting over my ex and looking at different advice about men and dating, I remember this comment still. The woman wrote that she had been dating a man for 4 years and finally insisted that they get engaged. He said “but i’m not even sure i’m ready for a relationship.” So in that one sentence she found out that he didn’t even consider her to be anything serious. Basically, she was someone to have sex with and not be lonely. That smacked me awake. Some men don’t give a damn about wasting your time. They just will. Don’t let it happen to you.

It's strange they say that but when you start seeing other men and position them back at the bottom of the dating shelf a of a sudden they want a serious relationship. That's why you never date just one guy UNTIL he wants to be serious. A man knows in the first 5 mins of meeting a woman if she's wife potentia. Everything ese is either to train you or waste your time.

So true. Dating a guy 5 months. From day one I he never had me guessing. Communication daily from him! Since day one! We are off dating sites and in a committed relationship. Not one fight yet. And in the beginning he was going too fast, I did slow him down. And boy he is investing his resources in me big time. Droves 90% of time to my part of town. Helps me with little things here and there. He sends me poems. Says he thinks about me all the time. Always wants to see me. He said I’m a unicorn!

In your opinion/experience..if he sees you as a FWB first and clearly states “I’m not looking for a serious relationship”, but then 4-5 months down the line he said “hey I have feelings for you, I want to take this more seriously.” Is it still not likely to succeed? This guy is a hippie dude and he’s 11 years younger than the woman. I know I’m getting oddly specific lol
Had a FWB for the summer. Agreed to only hooking up. After the summer, I mentioned that we want different things and decided to break it off and he said himself too he doesn't want to feel like he is using me.
He hits me up once in a blue moon and when I straight up said no I have a relationship now, it turned into, why would you assume that I'd want to hook up etc etc. Nice try, I'm not in the mood to take breadcrumbs. Plus, we never went on a date so much for an "investment"

What do I do if we’ve been talking for just over two months now and already established that we’re both looking for a relationship but I feel he isn’t consistent enough
He calls me regularly every other day /two-3days and I personally feel like I need more consistency. I’ve voiced this about 3weeks ago and he’s said he’d try to change it but it’s still the same (I’ve mentioned it an again within the 3weeks)… what do I do . Leave or stay and see if it evolves

I think it’s MUCH easier for women to adhere to the “rules” than for men. Men will approach 1 women 10-50x more than 1 man will approach 10-50 women and actually have a chance, hope that makes sense. Women are the gatekeepers. The right guy will be consistent and show up for you. The bad ones will walk away without you being heartbroken.

It's absolutely the right way, people in Israel should know every one of them matters, it's not weakness. Here's an example. Two girls, college age. Public pool. One girl sits in the corner, but wears her college sweatshirt to show she's college age. She puts her face in her phone as she walks out. The other one, goes up and talks to the lifeguard she picks out as "worth" talking to. These guys are expecting you, the girl, to show interest first. Now, the lifeguards have to do their lifeguard thing and can't move much. But the girl seems to find a way. The cheerleader??? The football player is usually looking for her. BUt, HE"S RIGHT. It's more than just being cute. The young man needs to be ready for "to make a move". Otherwise, it's just talking and waste of time.
