Happy Halloween! This week’s offering is a piece with kind of an eerie vibe, but in the style of an air varié from 100 or more years ago. For me, the music feels like a dance number from an old scary movie--spooky, but good humored. I’ve kept the sheet music pretty large in case anyone wants to play along! I read. Something like this is pretty pattern oriented. Once you figure the patterns, it’s almost like playing from memory. The sheet music becomes more of a guide.
