Thanks for your review! Makes me curious to try some. I guess it's still available, so who knows? I'm a sucker for advertising, so that porch sittin', checker playin' was almost enough to make me pull the trigger. Take care, my friend!
On our home is called a lanai (a covered, open-sided veranda, patio, or porch that originated in Hawaii). But it’s whatever you want to call it, porch, patio, deck, etc. Tobacco is one of those obscure blends, but sounds really good! Good to see you again! Happy Smokes!
There’s a smoke shop near my doctors office and after every visit I reward myself with a nice cigar. Usually a padron because like every other cigar enthusiast on the planet I love them!
Good stuff on this rainy Saturday morn! Not familiar with that one either - but it definitely sounds good! Appreciate you taking one for the team and experimenting with some of these lesser known blends!
I've seen that blend for years, but never tried it. It's name, along with "Exhausted Rooster," "Junkyard Dawg," and a bunch of others from C&D, harken back to the late Craig Cornell Tarler. It seemed that, having been a PR man, Craig would think of a name, then concoct a blend for it. This one sounds pretty good! It's Derby Day here in Louisville, and it's supposed to rain on and off all day long. Stay dry, my friend.
Tried this years ago. It’s a sleeper blend. Been going through this tin of river boat gambler which I think is a sleeper blend as well. Try to enjoy the weekend.
Good Morning 😊Thanks for the review and sharing your thoughts on the blend👌🏽 Appreciate your time and sharing a pipe with me 🌬💨💨 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Thanks for all these reviews, Brian. So many blends, so little time. Everything is so green there. Summer heat is coming on here, everything is turning brown. But “It’s a dry heat”. I’ll have to keep an eye out for your morta pipes. 👍😃☀️🌵
Dang you're going to get my favorite sleepers sold out LOL. Junkyard Dawg is another C&D that I'll always have in the cellar but no one ever talks about it. Like you were saying, just enough lat to keep interest.
Hey Mr. Doran I just had Rattrays Marlin flake for the first time. I loved it. My first Rattrays blend. I went and watched your video from a few years ago and I totally agree it has way more Perique than what they suggest. The tins I got were packed in January 2024 so not sure if that makes a difference but I enjoyed it thoroughly. My taste is changing to vapers with a little bit of quality cavendish in them
Good morning and happy Saturday my friend. I bought a tin of this a while ago and just finished it up last year. I found the tin art and the description to be appealing. As to the blend itself, I didn't particularly care for it. I wanted to like it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm enjoying some Mallard Flake w/ Perique this morning in a Mark Twain cob. Rain here today too for our Wisconsin fishing opener. Have a good one!
Easy Times is excellent!! I had this one before and remember I loved it and now looking in my cellar I have a jar sleeping! ( Happy Man) lol Great review Brian
I really like that one. Its definitely an extremely enjoyable smoke. Less is more when adding Latakia Im finding here lately. Enough to taste but not overpower. Doesnt take much. Easy times was one of the blends that showed me that. HGL another. I have tin of Easy Times open currently. That morta is beautiful stuff. Probably not fun to work though. Take care.
I don’t know how, but I just lucked out and got the Doran pipe of my dreams. I feel incredibly fortunate. Is morta good for smoking Virginias? It looks thick as all get-out! Thanks for everything, Brian.
Sounds like one I would enjoy, unfortunately it will now be sold out for years! Bobs Chocolate listening to local radio at Jazz Fest live. You know you’re a TH-cam influencer, right?
I think of this as a more refined version of C&D's big and burley without the Perique. I used to smoke this when I was a nicotine fiend, but now it's too powerful for these old bones.
Your backyard is so green and vibrant this time of year. It makes it look like a "green screen" display.
Haha thanks my friend yeah probably from all the rain we had
I believe Matches 860 did a review of this back in the day.
Yes I found his vid on it pretty accurate low on Latakia for sure
I was given a tin and I absolutely loved it i was also shocked but very happy. Have a great weekend brother
Yes I was surprised as well pretty good stuff for sure
Thanks for your review! Makes me curious to try some. I guess it's still available, so who knows? I'm a sucker for advertising, so that porch sittin', checker playin' was almost enough to make me pull the trigger. Take care, my friend!
Ahhhh yes love the name and porch theme and it’s a nice smoke

Thanks my friend it’s definitely a decent blend I was surprised, weather here been pretty crappy I’m ready to get out on the water
That blend brought me back to pipe smoking from cigars back in 2018. I always have a couple tins saved back. I really enjoy it a lot.
Nice to hear it is definitely a nice blend
Thanks for your review! Looking forward to the other Cornell and Diehl reviews!
Tried this years ago. It’s a sleeper blend. Been going through this tin of river boat gambler which I think is a sleeper blend as well. Try to enjoy the weekend.
Thanks my friend I need to see if I have any in my cellar

Standing on my porch. Overlooking a creek. Enjoying an evening Dunhill. Sounds like “easy times” to me 🤘🏻
Ohhhhh nice sounds amazing to me
Love the review sounds nice. I also like your backyard it looks very nice.
Thanks my friend yeah I see all kinds of wildlife here
Sounds like a blend I would enjoy on a summers day as it rains! Smoke just hangs in the air of a covered area! Thanks
Thanks for stopping by it’s definitely a nice blend
Thank you Brian for an in-depth review. Have a wonderful weekend 🇺🇸👋🇺🇸👋.
Thanks Tony , I’m so ready to get out on the water

I’ve been enjoying Easy Times i am about out of it. But it was a fresh can. Great choice 🤙. A decades old can! Thats gonna be smooth.
No I misspoke I meant to say 2023 haha but was still good

Great review looking thru my cellar I actually found a tin of easy times from 2020 I’ll have to open it up and see how it is. Have a great weekend.
Nice let me know how you like it
One down. Thanks
Haha first one is pretty decent I was surprised
Matches did a review of it, that's why I bought some. I like it a bunch. And like you said not overpowering Latakia.
Yeah it’s a pretty decent blend for sure thanks for watching
I don’t know how, but I just lucked out and got the Doran pipe of my dreams. I feel incredibly fortunate. Is morta good for smoking Virginias? It looks thick as all get-out! Thanks for everything, Brian.
Awesome thanks my friend Morta is very brittle it’s like a Meershaum it doesn’t ghost your pipe
It's been awhile and I have forgotten who, but someone else did a review on this a number of years ago.
I looked up reviews I found Matches and Tade Smoking pipeliner we all said the same things
Oh sounds interesting I just cracked bayou morning red Virginia and perik so maybe that’s what I’m tasting no smokiness but that spicy note
Ahhh yeah that’s a good one also my friend
Would you say a fresh tin would be really good?
I think you said that one was 2013.
Thanks
Yes it’s really good I mistakenly said 13 meant to say 23
@@beans316 Thanks
Sounds like one I would enjoy, unfortunately it will now be sold out for years! Bobs Chocolate listening to local radio at Jazz Fest live. You know you’re a TH-cam influencer, right?
Baaahhhaaaa that’s what people tell me but I still think that’s hard to believe 😂
I think of this as a more refined version of C&D's big and burley without the Perique. I used to smoke this when I was a nicotine fiend, but now it's too powerful for these old bones.
Haha thanks for stopping by my friend
Do you ever have 8oz tins bulge? I have quite a few and they always look the same.
Yes my cellar is all leaning towards one side can’t stack them much higher 😂
1 puck=Easy Times😆
Haha I hate when they put all those in there
