I want to buy the HD X, I have a 22 AT4X and love the truck. The interior is hands down the best next to the Ultimate. Plus it has a e-locker. I like the look of the AT4, not sold on the interior.
I believe that the AT4 Has the power to get up and go, but in the past there were not enough power to go it has bog down a bit but now GMC has listen to the customer knowing what they want and luxury in a truck.
A good friend of mine as the At4 half ton but the At4 2500 is very sharp truck ❤

Had my 3500 since June, mine is a 24 and Duramax. 7,600 miles so far and this truck is quiet and rides like a half ton. Tows amazing and my only gripe is poor mileage so far. Empty 18, towing 9-10 range. My stock 17 duramax did 22 empty and 12-14 towing but that truck was constantly giving me issue’s.

@Dz Set Yes, volcanic red tint coat. Pictures don't do it justice. It's an unbelievable brilliant candy apple when the sun hits it. Hard to find. traveled 850 miles to get it.

What’s your honest opinion on this one vs 350 Tremor ? Which one is smoother against bumps ? Which one has better turning radius ? I think I’m coming down to those factors to decide which one I’ll get .
Haven’t driven the 2024 GMC but drove a 23 Tremor and a 23 AT4. The AT4 drove much smoother. The Tremor rides rough!
@@slimtny damn . I have this question because everyone seems to say the gm rides smoother but when I drive my 2015 personal truck (GM) it’s more rougher than my 2018 company truck (Ford) .
@@CristianM4252 GM is independent front suspension. Ford is solid front axle. GM will be better on road, ford will be better off-road. Have to google radius, my Chevy 2500 sucks at turning.

How does the cameras on the new GMC/Chevy look compared to the new F-250? What ones are higher resolution?
Camera resolution are basically the same, though GM has a couple extra angles to look at.
I have about 6 month before I order a truck, I am really on the line between a F-250 ultimate or GMC AT4. They both have good and bad.
Gm has the best camera systems hands down. He 360 camera view is loads better than my Ford Tremor was. That and the hud is the reason I left Ford
@@joekane6725 ford added the HUD, I watched a video on it and it is amazing. Ford also updated the cameras but I have never seen it in person. I had a 2020 Silverado HD Duramax, the HUD was ok but nothing mind blowing. With that being said I can’t find a video of what the new ones look like on 2024

I’m looking to go with a 2500 for ride quality? What’s the diff? I’m coming from a half ton and expect that ride to be stiffer but is it acceptable?
It’s definitely going to be a lot harsher ride coming from a 1500. But if you’re towing a heavy load, it will be pretty smooth.
I test drove a 2500 and it was smooth don’t know about a 3500

Buy the PRO with the X31 offroad package instead. Don't need the extra 2 inches of lift. And get a full size bed. Still cheaper.

This lost me at no rear locker. I know it's not a must for many people, but for me it is. Dressing it up to appear like it's a real off-roader is pretty lame. I know HD trucks aren't great off-roaders, but a rear locker will get you out of some pretty bad situations where non-lockers won't (or do with stupid crazy wheel spin and tearing up trails).
The AT4 has a Eaton G80 locker. It’s just not electronically controlled.

@Anti black gee why didn't I think of that. Oh wait not all jobs are paying a decent wage still to afford these $100k trucks. So a person COULD be working for it but by the time they have the money for it a newer one is coming off the line.
@@cbonardy I agree. They are crazy expensive. Maybe get a used one in 3 years that’s clean with low mileage. It will have time for any bugs with the refresh to surface

Wouldn't even call this a truck lol more like a computer on wheels with lots of plastic and cheap metal pretty sure the hood weighs maybe 50-60lbs. Good review but new trucks suck lol

Ford has nothing to worry about with this truck, it’s still underpowered compared to Cummins and Ford.
The outside of this truck is just hideous. Nothing on the outside flows. The front end is just way too tall, you can’t even see in front of you it’s like gm went back to the 80s. Those headlights extending into the grill looks really weird, but what’s really weird
Is the fenders and the plastic work truck fenders why? Also look how wide the front fenders are and then you get to the cab and it’s super narrow.
“Mirrors” 😂 man o man why did gm choose to go back to the 80s and move the mirrors further down on the doors?😂 they look so stupid there makes this truck look even more Goofy!
“Interior is an excellent upgrade minus the brake controller in the center by cup holders, horrible location.
I’m also surprised GM has never created a separate cabin for this truck like the F250s.

At4 suspension rancho shocks? 😂 not worth paying for it.
I do like the way the engine sounds, sounds more like a v8 Gas than a diesel.

No you should not. Thousands of 2011 -2015 trucks that are down due to the Allison TCM. Allison no longer supports it and GM won't support it. I will NEVER buy a GM product again.
The Duramax doesn't have Allison Transmission, I know there's a 6.6 gas truck that has Allison
All Duramax trucks have an Allison transmission. It says so right on the side of the truck.
@Bryan Wyatt ok, the was my question, they do have them, seems odd if they are still in gm trucks and won't fix the truck
