    Hey! thats me in the video playing ulforce! Super fun match, love the locals scene here in chicago, after watching my own match i completely forgot what was going and seeing misplays its like a horror movie I cannot look away lmao. Good match, and im definitely running it back next friday.

      Hey what's up Sam! And nah it's cool, I know you had just made the deck so it's all good lol. Can't wait to see you in action again this Friday for a potential rematch!

      I look forward to seeing you improve!
      Its always an option to just hardplay a tamer so vtamer tai can be an incredeible resource since ulforce unsuspends when any blue tamer is played on your turn, doesnt have to be by effect

    In regards to people saying "crack" for using the memory boost, it may be a carry over from those of us who came from playing Magic the gathering. Usually people will say "crack" when they use their fetch lands, or some times "egg pieces" in decks for certain decks in formats like modern.

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This makes sense because I know the word “tap” a tamer also comes from Magic lingo. The one I also wanted to know was when people say “that card is cracked! Lucemon is cracked!” And I’m like… when did I miss this language lol

    Ulforce is my favorite so you know we spent that MONAY to ult everything from the Rina to the Jeri and Leos. Also HUGE misplay on the ulforce guy for not unsuspending when he played out that V-Tamer Tai

      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like a lot of moolah 😂😂 but hey man you do you haha I too like to bling out my most favorite Digimon decks 🙃

    Question @20:19 why not target Ulforce with Lucemon? If it had evade it had evade, and you can swing over it with Mastemon.
    Then you would use masters effect to pop the aerovee stack.
    Also this Ulforce player doing illegal stuff. V-Tamer Tai is a main phase effect not an on play. Therefore he shouldn’t be using it all until after the security check, I see him tapping it to either draw/gain DP, when he was doing the Rina and Ulforce combos

    • @xXthevenomousXx
      @xXthevenomousXx ปีที่แล้ว

      The Ulforce player was making a lot of mistakes. Frequently forgetting to draw on digivolve, or unsuspend his Ulforce after manually playing a tamer. Suspending that Tai was pretty sus, since if Ulforce died in the Security Check, there wouldn't have been a Veedramon on the field to trigger it.

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ll have to double check v-tamer tai cause I’m not sure how it works. I’m sure Sam wasn’t trying anything sus since he just picked up the deck that day. But I’ll have to watch out for next time lol

    • @xXthevenomousXx
      @xXthevenomousXx ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrJsStrategyPlays I said "sus" but I could tell it was just another mistake. It's just that he should have waited until the checks were finished before using its effect.

    This is making me rethink the ST Salamon and ST Nyaromon

    • @LtZerge
      @LtZerge ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does depend how much you expect to get blown up. It's nice with angemon to immediately dump the devi or something else important in the cast he doesn't die immediately you can still setup, or if it remains in the lv6-7 stack you can constantly get value out of it. I wish we had a 'yellow tamer' version for it too

    • @Y0kAiS
      @Y0kAiS ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LtZerge maybe later. Usually when a deck falls out of meta Bandai gives it new support down the road.

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nyaromon is still my go to for Mastemon. Mastemon usually doesn't get deleted right away. And yeah like Pat mentioned, it's continuous value that lets you draw and trash every turn after.

    • @TemBear

      yeah it changes alot (also if he had the vtamer tai in hand he shouldve played it first and then evod ulforce to bounce the lady devi)

  • @stanl3ydagamer
    @stanl3ydagamer ปีที่แล้ว

    I know at the end of the match it didnt really matter but was there a resson you didnt delete a tamer with lucemon? Cause you still wouldve deleted a digimon due to mastemon effect

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I did that to force the Ulforce to suspend. Since Lucemon can delete up to LV6 Digimon, and Mastemon can only (technically) delete a LV5 or lower when DNA evolving. That way I can swing over the suspended Ulforce

    3:18 should of only gained 2 memory being that he already gained 1 from veemon when he played tai.

      @samuelbarrios7749 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did only gain 2 that digivolve, i was already at 1 and veedramon has the same inherited. I left him at 3 after digivolving for 4, and gaining only 2 back. leaving him at 1

    As an ulforce player I do play aggressive but I think running blue mem boost is pretty neg cause me and other ulforce players we’re talking with each other and we run so many searchers and gain so much mem the blue mem boost isn’t necessary

    • @Branflakes-ez2pn
      @Branflakes-ez2pn ปีที่แล้ว

      In replacement for blue mem I run sourai for the fact that it’s good against the mirror and good against bwgx cause they don’t have a good stack anymore

      Man I wish I could play these deck so I can talk theory with you as well. I can see arguments for either, and that’s what I love about Digimon. I’ve seen success with both lists, and it’s great to play a game that allows you to tailor a deck to any player’s preference

  • @bradford2839

    crack comes from MTG with fetch lands you would "crack" them to search the land you needed

    • @andrewsheiman8574
      @andrewsheiman8574 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, it comes from MTG's original cycle of five eggs, which you would "crack" to filter mana and draw a card. "Crack" become used as a shorthand for sacrificing a permanent for an effect, and most other card games just borrow magic's language for many things.

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oooh I like this explanation. Makes sense sacrificing a permanent for an effect. Thanks for this info lol

    Ulforce missed lots of evo draws and some better lines of play

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I respect the player coming to locals and playing the deck, even though he just got the deck that same day. Unfortunate he was on camera lol cause I'm sure many people were expecting someone who already knew the deck well

    • @TemBear
      @TemBear ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrJsStrategyPlays i think i need to work on my wording maybe, though its not easy for me to convey how i think succinctly.
      I think its important to have these things pointed out so ppl also understand what better lines of play are or just outright missing things because it helps both the players trying to learn and the players who were in the match. Plus it can show ppl interested in the deck that more can be done.
      But yes i dont get annoyed by most misplays and i understand new players or nervousness while on camera (or just having an off day or match where you miss things) i just find it fun to disect plays and think its useful for others to note too

    Ophanimon had to be bounced because he had 3 tamers

    • @xXthevenomousXx
      @xXthevenomousXx ปีที่แล้ว

      Ulforce's effect triggers the first time it unsuspends on a turn since it's mandatory. During that first unsuspend, he only had 2 tamers. Thought to be fair, he could have manually played the Tai before evolving if he wanted to make sure it got bounced.

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thevenomous is correct. He had the Tai in hand. He should've played that first, then bounced Ophani now that he would've had 3 tamers. But unfortunately he unsuspended first, and then played Tai

    There is a way to play against sec con and mastemon as well as ho to do the infinite loop u have to run from master to disciple a red tamer ,delicate plan and high speed plug in d for jamming pretty good u also cant be conservative u gotta swing

    • @MrJsStrategyPlays
      @MrJsStrategyPlays  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He was playing delicate plan but he just wasn't seeing his line. That's why he hard played the SaviorHuck. But yeah, game plan is to rush down Mastemon. Sec Control idk, I've yet to win that match up lol
