SPEND LESS - EARN MORE FREE CRUISES!!

- People always ask me how much I lose in the casino to earn these free cruises. I might be a bit lucky, but I have tricks to stretch my bankroll, minimize my losses, and keep the free cruises coming!
How I've earned over 15 free cruise offers from Royal Caribbean this year!:
• 4 Free Cruises! But HOW?
How I got free cruises from Virgin Voyages and MSC Cruises even though I've never sailed with them:
• UNBELIEVABLE - IT WORK...
Thank you for this information. Most people only advise you to play max bet or high denom machines. I can't afford to do that. I usually play 50 cents, 75 cents, sometimes 88 cents. Last year I won a Grand Jackpot on a Dancing Drums-like machine. I played 88 cents while others around me were playing $8.80. I won $16,000.00 dollars!
Hey Carol, thanks for the reply! Yes, usually they are talking about having the best odds of winning a jackpot, and while it is true higher bets generally have better odds, you can really tear through your money so you need a bigger bankroll. Also, the goal here is to play as long as possible, not win a jackpot. Congrats on hittting on Dancing Drums! I love the machines that you can win with a min bet :)
OMG, we are identical in the way we play on cruise lines. I bet minimum and always cash out if I win 25% of what I put in. My last cruise on CARNIVAL I went home with 300.00 profit. I always gamble on the days at sea in the morning and I always win. My last 12 cruises have been free and on CARNIVAL you get drinks free without having to hit a dollar amount spent on slots. Free from the start. I love the fun of it and that's what matters!!!!!
I love this! Happy cruising!
Thank you for saying this!!! I ALWAYS cash out when I hit over my starting bank roll! Usually anything over $10 & I stay on the same machine & keep winning. My husband can't stand it but one of us ALWAYS leaves with money AND their original bank roll & one doesn't....sooooo.
Some people have a really bad understanding of how the random generation of wins occur. Machines do not know if they are over or under their target payback and they are not "trying" to reach it. They will reach it in the long run. It is simply the laws of large numbers that after millions of plays they will average out to the 95%.
Hey Jonathan, thanks for the comment. You're absolutely right and this debate has raged on forever! It is absolutely random, however, the point I try to make is that if a machine is below its expected payback, eventually it will get back to it. Of course, there's no real way of knowing where the machine is in that cycle and no guarantee that when you play it it will 'get hot' (trust me, I know). All I'm saying in the video is if you can give yourself an even microscopic advantage, why not try? For me, it's more about the fun and adventure of it. The main point of my video was trying to help cruisers stretch their bankroll, increasing time played and likelihood of getting cruise offers. I do appreciate you taking the time to keep me honest 😌. Happy cruising!!
@@Fantiniastic, you are still not understanding how slot machines work. However, I am glad you are enjoying it. And you seemed to have worked out a good system for comps.
There is no advantage, even "microscopic," regarding the random number generator. I know you are confidently convinced there is some method to this "reversion to the mean" type hypothesis, but that doesn't apply in slot machines.
Either way, keep having fun and cruising!
@@charliedurham4248 thanks, Charlie!!
Thanks for sharing this information! I wish I had seen this prior to this past May as I did 19 days on RCL. Your ideas are consistent with many things I have learned and also the way I have been playing. I just did not "put in the time" that is required! You explained your process and the RCL program very clearly!
I subscribed to your channel and I will be on another RCL cruise in March. Will be on NCL in January. Have not researched their casino rewards program as of yet but I will be utilizing your concepts! Can't hurt! Fair winds and following seas!
Hi, thanks for watching and subscribing! Too bad you didn't see this before your extended stay on Royal, but better late than never! I do believe NCL is similar to Royal, but I didn't have any luck getting any comps from them (yet). I really do like Norwegian, so I'll come back to them at some point. Have fun!
On my last cruise I was able to get prime with only losing $500 playing the same game on 3 different slots at 88¢!!
Which game?
Thank you for saying this!!! I ALWAYS cash out when I hit over my starting bank roll! Usually anything over $10 & I stay on the same machine & play until its not pheasable but most times I keep winning. My husband can't stand it but one of us ALWAYS leaves with money AND their original bank roll & one doesn't....sooooo.
@@Allthathingss we know what's up!!!
Hi Chris, i know that you went on a princess cruise a couple of months ago, and I wanted to know, how do you use the medallion in the casino? How do you get your cash off the medallion put back on your crefit card when you are done gambling? I'm so brand new at this. Thank you for your help! I know I am a total stranger, but boy, I wish I could talk to you and pick your brain for ten minutes! :)
@@jenkayla2492 hey!!! You hold your medallion to the slot sensor and then take cash out from your account just like other cruise lines. You can go to guest services at the end of the cruise and pay down your folio with cash that you get when you cash out your machine at the casino cage.
I start receiving free cruises after my 13days cruise last year so far my wife and I took 8 of them . the best part is i only spent 500$ the whole time i met a lot of new friends. and now Im almost hitting the prime . only heaving a 100$ budget every cruise. wish me luck next month. i need 530 points away to prime.
@@angelobautista7250 that's awesome Angel - you can do it!
Thanks for the video. A couple of quick adjustments
1) prime allows you to only get drinks while at the casino (when it’s open). Not a drink package
2) cruise casino slots are around 80% payout, not 95%. Very few land based casinos are that high. Cruises have been known to have much less.
What machines do you use to stretch your bankroll while earning points
Hey Shenelle! I do have my favorites, some of the ones that are more common are any of the games with the pots that fill with coins. They tend to get played a lot. So that would be dancing drums 🥁 or any of those older ones that are smaller. I even play the 3 reel mechanical versions. I also like Buffalo Gold and the variants. Look for games that are getting a lot of play with minimum bets of 40 to 88 cents. Good luck and happy cruising!
Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and theories on all!
@@WhiteBoxFarm thanks for watching!!
Very good content - concise and easy to listen to. Thanks!
Thank you!
We sail Royal Caribbean and I have won so called free cruises and they are not free …you have to pay port fees and any upgrades you make…plus what you lost in the casino
@@AngelaM7402 very true!
At 2500 points you get free drinks anywhere on the ship? Or just in the casino?
Hey! Just in the casino but everywhere would be amazing! I usually pregame in the casino and then either stop by for a refill or use my diamond drinks
do you happen to have an idea on what the algorithm is for points specifically for craps? I believe it varies per table game
Hey Eduardo, unfortunately I don't, but the one piece of advice is to make sure the dealer knows you're tracking points so he remembers. Table games can be hit or miss
I know this is from a year ago, but a good rule of thumb is whatever your average bet is. So if your avg bet is $100 you can expect to earn 100 points per hour.
95% is not in the ballpark. Closer to 85%
Just discovered this channel and subscribed. 🙂
One question though: When you receive an offer for a cruise, is it just for you or can you bring a partner with at no extra cost (aside from gratuities and port fees and the likes)?
Hey Mike! Thanks a bunch for the sub! So, with Carnival it's you +1, with Royal you have to be careful as they're starting to do a free guest, meaning you pay a single fare and get to bring a guest for free. Not all of their offers are like that but some.
@@Fantiniastic 😀👍
Regarding slot play and earning points, every $5 earns you 1 point…what about time spent playing or the amount of losses incurred? Does playing longer (on slots only) and/or losing money net you more points?
Hey there - so when it comes to points - it's strictly money cycled through the machine. So every $5 bet on Royal Caribbean slot machines = 1 tier point. It varies for table games, and other cruise lines have their own points systems but the all work similarily. Actual losses do not factor in getting free cruises, it's actually the 'expected loss' which is a calculation based on time spent gambling plus amount. So, you can win free cruises 2 ways: for hitting certain points numbers either in a year, or on a cruise, OR by having an expected loss number that the cruise line likes.
What about a couple using the same card in the casino, is it possible?
Hey Doreen! Yes, you can use the same card. You can be swiped in to more machines than one at the same time. The only time this won't work is on the older ships where your card has to be physically inserted in the machine and stay in it for the whole time while playing. Have fun and good luck!
@@FantiniasticI’ve heard that you can ask the casino to print you a second loyalty card (only for casino loyalty; not a room key) to enable playing on multiple machines that require card insertion.
@@alikaalex its true! Also, a lot of the newer ships have tap now so you don't have to insert your card, you just have to tap it. So, you could play multiple machines :) we do it sometimes to help a friend hit prime on Royal when we already have enough points on our account.
Good video, but as independent casino host I can tell you that only your ADT is main source for free cabins. Sometimes I can get free cabins for 150 adt( it’s very low) sometimes over 2000adt(Icon of the seas balcony). Most of the time I am able to book comped cabins for average players
Hey Gene, thanks for watching and your reply! Can you explain ADT a bit please?
@@Fantiniastic The average daily theoretical, the only number all casino departments working with. Land and cruises. Your average bets and time. Slot play about of money go to slot and time you play. Of course, if a player lost $10.000 in up to 7 days cruise casino will try to give balcony at least for the next cruise because of lose, not ADT. I have requirements for an Icon of the seas 2000 ADT and same time for Vision of the seas 300ADT. I can run player play history and see what cruise i can comped with all cruise line except Disney.
Intriguing. I need to learn more
Thank you again!
@@jenkayla2492 any time!!
Hi Chris, can you please confirm whether or not the currency on royal carribbean ships is USA. Specifically spectrum of the seas out of Singapore. Thanks in advance
Hey Jill, yes, all Royal Caribbean ships use USD regardless of locale. Thanks for watching!!
Appreciate your quick response. Love your tips. New subscriber
Thank you, that means a lot to me!!!
On our last cruise, I came 🏡 with over $1,300.00 and went it $2,000. and I have won free cruises on Royal Carribean.
Every machine last week on Harmony of the Seas was 2x the minimum- which is new to me. I was clueless, then noticed my money was draining very quickly.
What? Like were they all 2c denominations?
What about table games? Do they count?
Hey there, thanks for the question. Some table games count, but you need to make sure your dealer is tracking your play and it can be unreliable.
Have you been on msc yet if so please make a video about it
Hi! I have and I actually have 2 videos about msc on my Playlist!

Took my first Royal caribbean cruise in 2022. This year for Memorial Day we took sail onboard Icon of the Seas for 7 nights. I played roulette every night from 9 pm until like 2 in the morning. I would win or break even on most of the spins. Only took $200 out of the ATM and played with that money and the money won the entire cruise. The day before we left I received a free cruise for 2. Didn't play any machines just roulette every night
Awesome! Sounds like lady luck was shining on you!
@Fantiniastic most definitely. I think the most I won in a night was #400. Nothing major but it helped my bankroll and allowed me to continue play everyday
Can I get good point playing craps? I can play for like 8 hours straight. I love It. But I hate slots
Hey! Thanks for watching! You just have to make sure the craps dealer is tracking your play.
@@Fantiniastic okay. Cuz I have strategy on craps I bet $25-100 per roll. But I rarely lose so I can play for like 10 hours lol. Idk if that would give me enough points though? What ya think?
I played about 25 hour's on craps on my last cruise, about 100/150 a roll and 10 hour's of BJ 25/50 a hand, had 600 points at the end of the cruise
@@fergusryan5464 lmao crazy. They don’t track It even remotely close to ok
@@fergusryan5464 so did u get comped a free cruise?
Is this true? With prime 2500 points you get free drinks while cruising? Or while gambling?
Hey David, thanks for watching and for the question! With Royal Caribbean, they're quite generous with their drinks. While it's only when the casino is open and at the casino bar or via a server, you get free drinks, including top shelf. Their 'official' stand is 'while playing', but I've never heard of anyone being refused a drink as prime in the casino (unless they're too drunk). I'm going on Carnival tomorrow (very excited, a comp on Celebration) - unfortunately with them you must be playing and can only get service from a waiter. I have Diamond status on Royal (due to all my free cruises) which gives me 4 free drinks per day around the ship. Between that and my casino drinks I don't spend much at all on beverages!
great video. an instant classic. first comment.
You're too kind!
Fantastic advice

@@davidlee9024 Thank you!
I avoid machines. They are random number generators and the outcome is determined when you press the button. I am up 86k on Carnival for 2024. I get free suites and drinks everywhere plus freeplay. Blackjack only for this kid.
Hey if it ain't broke don't fix it! 😊
I saw a couple machines that had the "must payout by" on freedom a couple weeks ago. River of coin birds or something 😂
Ooooh good to know! I love Freedom, maybe my favorite ship - I'll have to get back onboard!

Either you’re incredibly lucky or you’ve lost more than $400 😂 because the average cost per point is $1 for many slot players including myself on Royal
