Don't forget those old-style slots. I played an 5-reel Quick Hit variation for about 20 minutes - put in $15, played $0.75 bets, left with $50 or so profit. Not an exciting game but great for extended play time!
Great video, glad I found your channel! Gave you a follow for sure and looking forward to learning more about this from your other videos as well! Happy sails! 🚢😊
Do I need to mention that I watched this video with paper and pen and writing notes?🤣Great video Chris, love all the details! Can't wait for the videos from your next 4 cruises! I REALLY like the format of this video so I'd like to see more of the types of the machines you play, what denom you use the most (the smallest, the next to smallest, do you switch between minimum and the "middle" nom, etc. Also I've heard from other cruisers that in order to being noticed by a casino host it's better to put a bigger amount (like $500+) at once in the machine at the beginning of the cruise. Any truth to that? Do you approach a casino host and introduce yourself so they look at your play for future comps or it's a waste of time for a "small fish" gambler?
The whole plopping down a big amount might work on table games but wouldn’t really apply to slot machines. This would work better on cruise lines such as Carnival and Princess cruises where if you’re at a table game you put a thousand dollars down and let the pit boss know you mean business. But if you’re betting small amounts, I wouldn’t bother with this method. For Royal, it’s mostly based on your points for free cruise offers whereas Princess is more based on how much time you played or how much you lost.
Great information Chris! Loved the format on this video! Definitely going to try some of those machines in Aug when I will be on the Grandeur of the seas.
This is my first time on your channel (new subscriber) and I am excited to see someone covering cruise ship casinos! Do you always min bet and can you maybe explain a little more on how the method works? I am on Harmony in September and October and want to be able to put this to use! Thank you for creating this content.
Hi Mitzi! Welcome aboard 🛳. I almost always minimum bet. Essentially you are trying to earn points and extend playing time in the casino. Those 2 things are the key to getting comps. I highly recommend watching some of my other videos as I detail a lot of my methods in them. Thank you for watching and good luck on Harmony!
Thanks for content, I play land based casinos and haven’t been targeted comp building. I need to do more tier building this year and will give your method a try especially on 5X and 10X days. I have a few other machines with low vol to try. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks again for tips. PS I subscribed to stay on board!
Hey chris Love you videos. Thanks for giving your method in such detail. On your upcoming cruise it would be nice to see a couple of your sessions in the casino, your average bet, how much you spend every night, and how many points you collected at the end of the cruise. I also have a princess cruise coming up in the fall. Was the sun princess a casino comp? Not sure how difficult it will be to earn free cruises there.
Hi Shenelle, thank you for watching - glad you like my videos! My next cruise is in August on Utopia (the casino looks GORGEOUS)! I plan on showing the casino, what games the ship has, and showing some gameplay and tracking my spend and points. Stay tuned!! As for Sun Princess, it was a comp!! Can't wait for that one!!
Two questions Chris do you leave a machine once you get a bonus round or stick with it. Second question are any of your next four cruises free cruises. Looks like we’re going on the explorer of the seas this fall on our first “free cruise” and shoot for prime.
Hey Jim great questions! I almost always leave a machine after a bonus unless it has multiple pots and there are still some that are full unless I won a lot. All of the next 4 are comps. I don't pay for cruises any more :)
I also like to play Lock it Link Diamonds and Lock it Link Eureka Reel Blast, as they are fairly low volatile. And yeah, Buffalo Gold is one of the worst. It's fun to play but you can lose a lot even at the 60 cent level. How many hours does it take to reach your point goal, betting the minimum like that?
Hey David! I'm surprised about Lock it link games. I've never done well with them and assumed they were higher volatility. Honestly, I probably spend too much time in the casino, but that's why I get so many offers, it pushes up my theo. Id say 4 hours a day in the casino isn't out of the norm.
@@Fantiniasticdid you notice if there’s a specific time frame when big jackpots are usually won? Say, morning time or dinner time, etc? Not sure if there’s a time factor to it. 🙃
Hey!! I don't think they mind much as long a you keep other people out of the shot. Royal doesn't have a posted rule about filming, Carnival does though they don't seem to mind if you aren't filming others

Please do a similar video for Sun Princess. Meaning, please recommend which slot machines to play. Thanks!
Will do!

So, the managers don't mind people video taping inside the casinos? Wow. It wasn't always like this.
