Ep. 14 Making a simple daisy stepping stone, polymer clay mosaic options, workshop prep, stone delivery and my son starts a new mosaic!
My family helps with moving the repaired stepping stone so I can deliver it back with the other stones in a small memorial garden. Then I seal a bunch of polymer clay tesserae that I made. My oldest son, Max, starts a new angler mosaic with glow in the dark teeth. Then I start a simple daisy stepping stone for a friend using pre-made white ovals and yellow rounds that are adhered with thinset. The background is completed with gray penny rounds from a sheet with minimal cutting.
I try a layout for my 5"x7" Polymer clay mosaic and then grout and deliver the stepping stone!

What did you seal the polymer clay with?

I seal it with Triple thick glaze. A heavy coat.

How well does polymer clay hold up outside?
