    Fantastic to see you use the Italian glass method, but with fimo instead... That's so clever! The outcome is gorgeous, too. Requires so much patience, jeez...

    Very interesting technique with fimo, congratulations! I only knew the micromosaic in spun glass. Is the gray base on which you insert the tiles always fimo? When the design is finished should it be annealed in the kiln? Thank you if you would like to answer my questions

      The polymer filati are embedded in gray Fimo Soft. Once the mosaic is finished, it is baked at 230-250°F for 30 minutes. When cool, it is lightly coated with a matte lacquer.

    So beautiful, How many minutes did you bake it and at what temperature?

      Cynthia says the threads are baked 15-30 minutes during preparation. The final piece is baked 30 minutes. The Fimo is baked at about 230-250° F.
