Thanks you help beginners so much
TY! Im still trying to find my lure/bait hopefully this is a start
Are you able to adjust the bottom brightness so actual fish on the bottom are more visible?
Wow awesome information thank you for sharing
Thank you again olan
Mmmm, I gotta check that. Thank you Sir. Great video.
Yea sir. It’s something most people
Don’t do very often I promise you
Thanks bud. I've wondered what that setting was for. 👍
Yes sir. Now you’re not up the creek without a paddle. I’m sorry dad joke. 😂
@@The_Garmin_Guru Ayyyeee!! 😅
Will turning transducer put one click also help
The lines on the screen mirror your transducers path. You can turn your transducer all you want but the ones are gonna stay at that angle on the screen. Hope that makes sense
Randy, my transducer pole can be positioned on both the port and starboard sides of the casting deck. Because of this there is no need to clear the bottom of the hull. If the transducer was lifted up until it was 6” or so under water would the splash down be visible closer to the boat?
I got a question. So I took my boat out Recently I can see everything in front of me like the bait fish bass etc weeds structure all that. But everytime I cast out I can barely see my bait or I can’t see it. Or I have to get it literally right in front of my transducer and it’ll still not show up. But it will show up when it’s like ten feet in front of boat. Need help thanks
Thanks for the info. Didn't even know I had that.
Yes sir
Thanks that should help me see the bait. I do have other questions. Best method to ask them?
Here or you can email me brother. Thegarminguru@gmail.com
Thank you for the info!!
No problem bud
Awesome videos thanks for your help
Yes sir.
I'm so glad I found your site. After you set your depth and you still can't see your bait splash down, would it help to turn the transducer down 1 or 2 clicks?
Now that’s gonna help you bud
How far out are you trying to see it
@@The_Garmin_Guru 60 feet or more. Bass fishing in open water.
Good information, thank you.
Thank you Michael
Great tip. Thanks
Thanks Les
Awesome!!! Thanks bro.
Great info, thanks😎
Thank you Mickey
My transducer is on a pole. How does this setting impact my setup?
Just measure from the waterline down to the top of the transducer
Great info bro
Thank you Sid.
Out of curiosity, would it help to lower your offset down to say 4 or 5ft I order to see the bait splash further out from the boat? It seems that most of the lower screen isn't used anyhow due to the bottom showing
I guess hypothetically it could be but when you’re fishing that far out it’s usually a bass fishing application not a crappie one so the baits are easier to see
What do I look under to find instal depth because I’ve never seen that page before. My transducer is on a pole so say if I put the transducer 2 feet under surface then I enter 2 feet on the install depth page?? And Thanks.
It’s under installation.
Thanks
Yes sir
From my experience this will work. But for some boat and the way the nose and bow is designed like on my 99 tr21. Without a wedge to level the trolling motor you still can't see surface splash because the trolling motor shaft is angled under the bow. So one or 2 clicks past for the forward line in the brack I can see surface splash
This video is referring to the angle of the transducer. It’s referring to sliding the image down on the screen.
Did you say your transducer is 18 in below the water surface? I've been struggling trying to figure all this out. I think my transducer top is about 4 in on the surface of the water. Should I go deeper?
That’s how far mine is but I’ve had it closer to the surface before and it read the same.
Thanks. I thought that just changed the numerical reading of the depth
Thank you for watching bud
that did not help i think all that is for is so that you will get a more accurate depth reading on your graph
Not true. I’ve been using this truck for a long time and it works well to see the splash
