- A thing in the works for 2.5 years that everyone's been asking for and I finally figured out.
Story time! Back in 2019 once I decided I wanted to continue the Jonny’s July Jams series and picked up with Volume 2, Zero-Two was originally on the lineup in my first version of the list. Of course it didn’t make the final cut, and I strayed away from doing it for essentially what’s become 2.5 years now. Now, here in 2022, I decided at MIDNIGHT to say “hey let’s try it” and I figured it out. How? No clue. Probably because it’s more distinct with the added lyrics than without I guess? No clue. So, finally for the first time on my channel, I finally have been able to present Zero-Two from Kirby 64 here. Hopefully you guys enjoyed! This was a top request exiting 2021, and eventually was planned to be done down the road once I had my life together. Regular upload today as well later on, but for now I’m gonna sleep, so see ya then!

The 0² composition to me perfectly summarizes what's great about Kirby. He doesn't need to understand what you are or your place in some grand scheme, he just knows "you're hurting my friends and I'm gonna put a stop to it" even if he has to smack up a Literal God to do so...

@@benlewis5136 the reason I say it wouldn’t sound clean is because switching audio stuff can be more complicated than it seems, and you gotta be able to properly blend it. But thanks for the compliment on the mashup!
This is really great, Zero Two is one of my favourite villain song covers from MotI, and GaMetal is obviously amazing as usual. That means this together makes up for a fantastic work. I can also tell you are really improving from, let's say, 6 months ago, just to throw-in an example. Your character arc is curving the right path, per say.
Another Insane Jester's Chaos is still my favourite though, I have incredible bias towards evil clowns and jesters :P

This was absolutely amazing and an entirely new step up from the others. The remixing is on point and then at 3:50 it just _perfectly_ all comes together. Take a break if ya need it mate, ya earned it.

My only complaint is that you omitted the lines “Gaze upon me! Do you fear me?” Those were my favorite lines in MOTI’s version
It’s almost as if it wouldn’t have worked either way (Amogus joke inserted here)
The line "Or is nothing all we're meant for?" was omitted as well.

The only complaint here is that you left out almost the entirety of the second verse for…whatever reason. You think you could add them back in for a second draft? The song doesn’t feel complete when the first verse is just repeated twice. It’s a real shame.

The issue is that the ending of the vocal variant blends into the outro and didn’t wanna make it sound bad. I’d rather just reuse the first chorus rather than make a terrible variant of the second chorus that has the outro, plus it flows better.

I heard a version of this mashed up with Edobean's version, which is from the perspective of Ribbon Ripple. It wasn't mixed very well, but it kind of sounded like a rap battle. Maybe if you got a hold of the other files you could make a better version? th-cam.com/video/Av6IRv3sVd0/w-d-xo.html
When the time is right, yes. And while yes I agree with you and I have heavy personal bias against doing 2 sets of lyrics layered over each other, I saw the video and thought it was okay.
