    Yo! From across the pond.
I've been searching for a bluesy amp that has a nice clean channel with a descent reverb somewhere in the 40 to 60 watt range for 6 months now.
As a harp blower I like a semi-clean sound with a spacial reverb.
I'm using a 15 watt tube amp with 3 spring reverb now but it breaks very quickly with gain at 2 and volume up near 6. Not very loud when jamming but it holds it's own.
After wading through what feels like hundreds of videos with reviewers playing nothing but heavy metal style music and never demonstrating the clean side of the amps that I may have been interested in I almost gave up til I found your video on the Roland BC Stage 60 Watt.
    !!!!FREAKING AWESOME SOUND!!!!
I had my laptop plugged into my extension speakers and I was convinced that this is the amp for me.
I've been a valve guy for over 40 years and you made a believer out of me.
THANK YOU for an in depth review of ALL of the features of this amp.
P.S. The sound was so good I broke out my Chromatix and played along with you. Great tune - What was it?
    Cheers,
    Vince.

My Blues Cube Stage finally arrived and it really is good. A lot of people are making assumptions about this amp saying it's a marketing con but it isn't. These really are a viable alternative to a quality tube amp with a great range of tones and it reacts amazingly with different pickups. Great thing too it integrates really well with my Boss ME 80 and my acoustic sounds really good through it too.

This is by far the best Blues Cube demo I've seen. I appreciated that you covered the gamut from truly clean to overdrive as well as the extremeness of the reverb. Thank you!

Hatef you have made my day my friend, thank you so so much for taking the time to comment. I do try my best to never prepare for an amp or guitar demo....I like the equipment to play me. This amp has magic, I don't know what Boss have done but this amp has a soul. Thank you again my friend 🤘🧟‍♂️🤘

This is the best video for a really pleasant tone snap shot of this amp on the internet. The other videos are ok but the tone you're getting from the amp in this video is unreal!

I adore my VOX AC15 with an upgraded Celestion Gold speaker and will never get rid of it. That being said, solid states are catching up with pure tube amps. These new amps sound exceptional.

I've got the Blues Cube Artist, Jeffrey and it's fantastic! I've been playing for over forty years (Im 57) and I've had all kinds of amps; stacks, combos, valve, solid state, modeling and hybrid. With the possible exception of my Marshall Plexis and reissue Bluesbreaker, this is as good or better than any amp I've owned. Brilliant build quality, as you'd expect from Roland, sounds amazing and very versatile. the DualTone. function, with both channels running simultaneously, is wonderful for soloing. Get one!!!

Great to see you guys again. Solid state still has a long way to go, but at least it has caught up to sounding like a decent pedal in front of a Fender combo.
Personally, the only thing which will ever replace valves is soul crushing agony at the end of valve production. Some day, people like me will be just as strange as people who have perfectly serviceable Polaroid cameras.

    • @Gechech
      @Gechech 9 ปีที่แล้ว

Lensman From my understanding, the GA-FC allows you to control the clean, crunch, and dual-tone channels, and to turn the efx loop, the reverb and the tremolo on/off.

Gechech Take a look at page 10 of the Roland BluesCube Stage/Artist user guide (download the pdf from Roland). The stickers for the GA-FC (yes really, stickers) show the Boost option for both channels on the right side swirches.

Cheers from the other side o' the pond (Houston, Texas... Blues land, heh). I personally am more into prog and classic rock, etc. (but was weaned on the blues and classical). Dig it. BTW, Cube 60 Keyboard is very nice for clean guitar also, albeit it's no Jazz Chorus.

As a Blues Cube Stage owner the stock speaker is garbage ( pioneer builds the driver) the reverb is terrible. My Tech 21 eats the Blues Cube, along with my tatty arsed Peavey Bandit. I so wanted to love this amp, I waited so long for Roland to release it.

    • @bestplans9051

I own one as well and the speaker sounds perfectly fine and a couple people on here, besides myself, had no problem at all with the reverb. Garbage? Not even close!

+Christer Hedberg Its a tough one mate, the freedom of just chucking it around and not worrying about maintenance of valves/ tubes etc etc is worth the price i think, it does sound that good in the room. Have you got up close and personal with one yet bro?

Think one step ahead, no maintanence! No overheating tubes or bad electronics. No fidgety sound depending on temperature......!

Sorry even though you play good, to my ears the amp sounds terrible in comparison with a tube amp...,

You need a hearing test. Lee Anderton of Andertons Music did a blindfold test against 4 top tube amps and he picked The Roland Blues Cube as the best sounding and most tube like.
