    When your mother says " OPEN YOUR MOUTH" I was laughing so much. She reminds me of my friend's mother that passed away recently. Had to watch that part a couple of times. I am excited to see your other videos on what to do with rice paper!

    She reminds me of my grandma 🥰. She prefers using her hand to mix the egg roll as well!

    When I fried mine they fell apart even though I rolled them snuggly. Also they would not brown

    • @26mnguyen
      @26mnguyen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try using egg yolk as a paste to seal the end of the rice paper at the end. That’ll help with keeping them sealed. As far as browning, they typically won’t brown very much. Try adding more sugar to the water/coke mix.

      I did not measure the temperature but oil should be hot. And don't crow the oil pan. For the first batch I would just fry one or two to get the oil really hot and then you can add more. I would fall apart if the oil are not hot enough. Also try sticking them in the freezer and let it firm up for 30 minutes before you fry them

      @@kimninh7396 thank you for these tips. I did not use the egg yolk or coke. I enjoyed your video!

    I love your mom she revived me of mine... But please don't call them egg rolls it's Cha Gio. I never quite seen Cha Gio made that way you forget some ingredients. Coca cola? I hear you speaking Vietnamese but that's nothing I've seen before. Just be the northern version. I'm from the South, Danang

      @@kimninh7396 I thought it was fine. Is the first one just regular rice paper for spring rolls? I think I'm going to try to use those because that's all I can get easily :P
