Quick tip for fighting G virus Birkin! Unlike basically every other monster in the game, the shotgun actually does reduced damage to him when you fight him after Annette Birkin lowers you both down after being crushed/grabbed by him. Just thought I'd point that out, for those who still haven't played the game, or didn't know that!
I follow someone who got their hands on the OG2 Survival Guide and it is very funny for some reason one of the things you said about Annette reminded me of it… this is just a little quote that was shared “she’s raving that you were responsible for killing William. I hope she’s not talking about that monster which attacked you on the train. If so she might want to file for a divorce…(birkin shows up) never mind”
Ngl I still have nightmares over getting the platinum in this game. The amount of skill you need is honestly ridiculous. And I got the dang Cat Ears in Ghost Survivors which drove me even more insane.
Yh id say the main game itself isn't too hard to do, that's if you have the correct bonus weapons. The dlc levels are where it's challenging but I just kept at them and eventually did them
I platinumed RE3 last year and debating whether to do this one but your vid has convinced me. I’m not the best gamer but getting the platinum in RE3 has boosted my confidence.
Cheeky thing about the Super tyrant fight. Save your grenades throw 8 of them at him (flash bangs count too) and Ada should throw you the rocket launcher. Fight over and you have all your ammo for the final G fight. Also the Magnum drops tyrant to his knee in one shot, stuns the ivy, and its the fastest way to kill the g mutants in the sewer at 2 shots a piece.
Yh I don't think I used the magnum that much during my playthroughs but I think I was too used to using the grenades against other no boss enemies. Its good knowledge to know for the future incase I return to it
Funny you mentioned how disgusting the burger looked because the devs actually went out and bought a real burger and scanned it into the game lol. Maybe because it was made in japan and not America has something to do with its lack of deliciousness 😅
After a long time, A Small Carbon Footprint was my finale for getting all achievements for this game I'm so glad that doing NONE of the crazy S+ Hardcore stuff was required, because I could never see myself doing any of that
No Way Out 5-star scenario on your 2nd attempt?! Jesus... Definitely built differently. That's literally the only challenge/achievement/trophy I have left before getting Platinum in this game, but I have done 20-30 attempts now, not getting to the last wave of enemies even once. I think the RE3 remake Platinum was fairly easy to get, but this just f*cks me over (and over, and over, and over).
Yh I do remember watching a video from Snamwiches for the No Way Out scenario so i did kinda know what i was getting into to. I will say save your electric shots for the regeneradors since you wont always have any heavy ammo for their heads
Don’t let multiple play throughs scare you. These games are designed to be played thru multiple times. I got a much better and fuller experience playing this game 11 times thru, compared to only playing each story once
I just beat Leon's first playthrough on Saturday and now I'm hooked again trying to get the platinum for RE2 lol I'm about half way done, trophy wise so hopefully I'll finish this up soon
Yeah I platinumed this when RE4 Remake was about to come out, really fun game. I actually got the RE2 Remake when it came out, but I quit early on (in the photography safe room) because the police station was terrifying, felt good to go back and beat it, as well as RE3 Remake, and of course I platinumed RE4 Remake as well.
Yh RE2 wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be. Just finished RE3 story so now I've got all the Nightmare and inferno modes to do + some clear up for collectables etc

The thing is : RE2make is a great RE game, great survival horror game and a great game just in general. However as a *remake* it sucks major ass. As for A/B scenarios in the original - they are tied together, what you do in Leon A affects Claire B, same for Claire A and Leon B (canon route btw)

I recently got re2 remake and I am around 50% done with trophies, mainly the ones I have to tackle is the hard mode for both playthroughs, play without healing and item box and carbon footprint and a few bits of hidden trophies, but honestly I am not ready for hard-core mode. Mr x got me shitting myself on standard tho I never died to him. Thanks for the video, it will help me if I decide to finish up the remaining trophies
honestly the carbon footprint and item box ones are easy when you have it on the easiest difficulty and aim assist on. For the hardcore ones youll get through them. i believe. update me on the progress

This boosted my confidence to complete re2, and that's exactly what I did. I've been playing for the past 4 days, and after 6 playthroughs, I finally managed to collect all the trophies. Now, I can proudly say that I own both the re2 remake and re3 remake platinum trophies. Now I have already bought re4 remake and im planning to get into it soon and try to platnium it as well

Those S rank shooting range trophies are a real pain, especially the ones with the TMP. I'm trying to get as many trophies as possible in my first playthrough so I don't have to do multiple playthroughs just for one or two trophies. Right now, my main goal is to clear out those shooting range trophies so I don't have to worry about them later. The person who designed the terrible aim for the TMP on the shooting range is my arch-nemesis. It's all luck-based, and if the game isn't on your side, you'll have to reset multiple times. So yeah, hopefully I'll finish the shooting range soon and save myself from future frustration.

yh I think I spent a good hour on each of the separate modes before I beat them. Kinda annoying but I did just play through the game like 5 times so was nice to mix the gameplay up a bit haha
Bruh. That zombie got fucking dusted by that semi. Absolutely wrecked. Her bones have been Thanos Snapped. Her organs are mulch. That shit makes me think that Hardcore is the canon difficulty because there's absolutely no chance a handgun is gonna take down an enemy who on average can tank a semi truck.
Lol, my life with video games is so ironic because i used to play minecraft as a kid on his world and his username was ResidentEvil and i thought it was a sick ass username until a year later i found out it was a game and i played most of the orignals like re2 re3 re4 re5 and 6 and so on and i played resident evil 1 and i love this franchise to death i played every game more than 15 times.

Well your on luck cause I may be working on the Resi 3 plat so you can look forward to that. This video took about a month to make but tbh the start was a little bit slow, but once you get into the groove of it, it flies by. Only the 2nd plat on the channel so the more I get out the easier the editing will get.

I love this game and finally convinced my boyfriend to play it for the first time. I’ve played it multiple times. Everytime Mr X was about to appear id play X gon give it to ya by DMX everytime he was about to smash through a wall or appear ready to fuck you up. 😂

So I do mention in the video that I bought a special edition which came with all the bonus content like all the infinite weapons etc. Just made it less time consuming since I was working on other content at the time

Yh No Way Out can be tricky, honestly save any explosives for either the white zombies or for when you see a zombie with a backpack and you need to clear zombies to get to him. Having as much in your inventory is crucial for beating it. Im only 15 trophies into RE3 but its not as long as RE2 so cant wait to start tackling some of the harder trophies
Man I completed whole game+DLCs and all achievements but still I don't get Platinum trophy 🏆. Leon & Claire 2nd run on hardcore are left to be completed, Do I have to complete them? for Platinum trophy
Well there are 2 trophies for completing each one of their runs on hardcore difficulty and then there are another 2 for completing them on hardcore with an S+ ranking so you might as well try and do all of those within 2 playthroughs. That's what I did

I've only played the newest ones/remakes so that being 2,4,7 and 8. Currently playing the story Of Resi 3 then going for the platinum after that.

Lol, my life with video games is so ironic because i used to play minecraft as a kid on his world and his username was ResidentEvil and i thought it was a sick ass username until a year later i found out it was a game and i played most of the orignals like re2 re3 re4 re5 and 6 and so on and i played resident evil 1 and i love this franchise to death i played every game more than 15 times.
Yh i never played it as a kid so playing the remakes was a ton of fun. Id love to get around to playing the rest of the series but there are so many great games out there that i havnt played, there isnt enough time in the world haha
Currently doing my first ever playthrough. I did get the unlockables pack cause I'm not good enough to get them.
It does help but taking the time to use your ammo well and knowing where certain items are definitely helps

Also, how long on average does it take for you to make these? i assume a VERY long time because it took me a day to finish my first play through (approx 9 hours but i spent a whole day at my tv)

This video took about a month to make but tbh the start was a little bit slow, but once you get into the groove of it, it flies by. Only the 2nd plat on the channel so the more I get out the easier the editing will get.

Resident evil 4 took me way longer to plat but resident evil 2 was a lot harder those extra mode trophies are no joke
yh i spent a couple of hours trying to get the first 3 done that wasnt in the video so i could unlock the modes that matter trophy wise but even they were annoying to do. Cant wait to get around to Resi 4. Ive heard great things

With multiple playthroughs it's not as difficult as you think. Try and unlock the infinite RPG and you'll be absolutely fine with it

Planning what ammo and weapons you use is crucial for it + you don't need to kill every enemy you see so keep that in mind

Question, how did you get the rocket launcher for the Leon/Claire mop up playthroughs? Your ranking screens were not S+ ...
So I do mention in the video that I bought a special edition which came with all the bonus content like all the infinite weapons etc. Just made it less time consuming since I was working on other content at the time
@@JackOfAllGames_TV ah didn't catch that, it's a good time saver for mop up runs definitely. S+ can also be a real pain to get given the easy insta deaths you can fall into. Worth doing, but very hard!
Yh I do love a challenge, if this wasn't for a video then I probably would've not cheesed it but since I wanted to do it as quick as I could, that's why I used that method
How did you have the infinite rocket launcher if you hadn’t done S+ on Leon Hardcore unless you went back and did it?
The edition that I had gave me the infinite RL when I downloaded the game
I got 100% on re3 remake and im 1 achievement away from 100% on re2 remake. Im gonna be honest, im struggling with No Way Out.
Yh No Way Out can be tricky, honestly save any explosives for either the white zombies or for when you see a zombie with a backpack and you need to clear zombies to get to him. Having as much in your inventory is crucial for beating it.
Im only 15 trophies into RE3 but its not as long as RE2 so cant wait to start tackling some of the harder trophies
Man I completed whole game+DLCs and all achievements but still I don't get Platinum trophy 🏆.
Leon & Claire 2nd run on hardcore are left to be completed, Do I have to complete them? for Platinum trophy
Well there are 2 trophies for completing each one of their runs on hardcore difficulty and then there are another 2 for completing them on hardcore with an S+ ranking so you might as well try and do all of those within 2 playthroughs. That's what I did
