How is it going with the lock?
@user-xc7uo6md3n it works. If the door is unlocked, you still can't get in from the outside. I haven't tried to kick the door open, haha. But it seems to work.

I ordered a FlipLok, it arrived Monday afternoon.
How important is the spacer? I think I'd like to install with the lock touching the door when it's closed, I'd have to use the middle thickness spacer which would keep the look from touching. Plus the spacer won't sit flush up against the casing/trim.
It looks like it can only be locked from inside when you are home. Can you lock it from outside when you are leaving the house, as you do with a dead bolt?
How do you propose to make that possible?

Unable to unlock the pin to switch the grooved piece. You turn it a couple of times and I have turned mine about 100 times.
