Traditional K Land proven charm, plastic ,pink,candy,cute.Irony SM just realized how vocals was so much more than the plastic coated early Gen 3 when aespa went viral with NEXT LEVEL. Sadly Mamamoo is past. I would be surprised if they perform again in the near future.It's going to be a break before we see the full fallout of the girls but, I wish them luck. Although not an acappella group, Lovelyz is known for their ability in acappella. They are also a group known for their stable live singing (while dancing) along with Mamamoo and Red Velvet to name a few. Because of their concept, their songs did not show their vocals well enough for other people to appreciate their individual colors. Their lead vocal Sujeong for example. I saw a lot of RVs on her solo debut song saying that they were actually surprised because they didn’t know Lovelyz has “this kind of voice”. She’s not a power vocal but definitely has one of the most unique voices of kpop. One of their main vocals Kei was already known to be a good vocalist way before but they didn’t know her real range. She only started gaining more recognition after her collab with Hwasa on Queendom. After that, she finally started singing away from the cutesy, girly and innocent voice that she had been using since her debut. She even almost overthrew the defending King on King of Masked Singers on her 2020 appearance on the show by only 1 point. That’s a wow.
