    Would this fix issue that radio will not turn off when door opens up, after the 10 mins it will. Dome lights do not stay on. Just radio

      Please send me the year and model because there is a RADIO recall for GMC & chevy from 2013-2018 also The lock actuator on the driver side sends a signal to the ECM only on the driver's side to turn the radio off and to stay on a specific amount of time after the key is turned in the off position, should be an easy fix, let know, Thanks

      If your window still running when ignition off and driver door open that means your driver door lock switch not sending a signal to turn off the can bus, try to unlock the car when driver door open with your remote Key FOB and from inside door handle to see if the radio and window stop working, you need to make sure your can bus not a wake after ignition off and door open

    What parts do I need to buy? I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu and we need to replace the whole ignition switch thing but we don’t know exactly what parts to buy.

    I have a question. Can please help me with this question. ? If i take off the inition key i still can turn on my car ?

      Yes, if you keep your car key close to the ignition anntena with a sotch tape, or take the transponder out and tape it to the anntena from inside, or you can fix your own ignition switch with the same waffers so you can keep using your old key, it very easy job.

    I stuck a pick and tooth pick in that hole and it just goes all the way to the bottom. There is nothing in that hole. So what now ?

      Try 2mm weld stick, it will get to the locking pin then you pull out, you should be okay

    My 2013 Chevy Malibu won’t start all of a sudden. Powers with key turn just fine but will not start. Is this issue due to a bad ignition cylinder ?

      Steps for troubleshooting for your situation
      is always good if you have a scan tool to see if you have any trouble code as a starting point to save you some time.
      1- make sure the security light not on when you insert the key inside the ignition switch, if the security light is turned off after you insert the key that means your key is working.
      2- if the car no start no crank, need to check the battery power, need to check the starter and its a circuit ( with the ignition on you can start the car by jumping the starter direct with the battery terminal to check if you have a bad starter seloniod, last but not least crankshaft position sensor.
      2- Car crank no start, check battery power, check fuel pump circuit and its relay.
      Please send me your email I will be happy to help, it should be an easy fix.
      Thanks

    So will the scan tool give a code for he ignition switch issue?

    • @NASSTRACINC
      @NASSTRACINC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      some scan tools give you a fault for ignition relay stuck OFF or ON, otherwise, you can see the ignition switch status from a live data stream, when I have one next time will do a video to show this procedure, Please subscribe for more programming video
