I think people don't respect a dude who has been coddled his entire career not working on his game. Doc Rivers sat on the sword the whole season and throughout the playoffs. He put the ball in his hands. How did Ben reward him?
He played scared in big moments when you had players like Trae Young playing twice Ben Simmons size. 76ers as management and leadership grouped failed Ben Simmons by coddling him his whole career and rewarding him with a huge contract.
