If the battery goes dead and i do not have a replacement battery available AND I want to be able to LOCK the door from the inside using that little latch and UNLOCK the door using a key......Can I do both ?

Hi! Yes the default code will be overight with the new code.

Can you change the key lock on this lock
Unfortunately I don't think you can on this lock. There is no adaptive mode. You will need a locksmith.
I moved into a house and the previous owner did not leave the manual with a programming code. I took the lock apart and it appears he removed the sticker with the programming code from there too. How can I get a new programming code? Is it possible to change the code without it?
If the sticker inside is gone I'm affraid there is nothing you can do.

Hello Alia! Thank you for your question. I think only programing code can be six digit long. User code are only 4 digit long.
@@HowToPM thank you for replying! That's exactly the problem though I want to put in 6 digits (the programming code) so that I can change the user code but after putting in the first 4 digits of the programming code it flashes red
Oh! I see, that mean that the 4 first digit you input do not match the 4 first digit of the programming code. I think you will have to take a look at the factory reset video that I mention at the beginning.

the code doesnt have to be 6 didgets.....
Programming code is minimum of 6 digits. User code can be between 4 and 8 digits.
@@HowToPM I can't get it to program more than a four-digit user code.
