Question.. the right and left is based on the door hinges according to that key pad

yes, it says it in the instructions as to what to switch it too based on hinges and the way the door opens

I have this lock but when I long press the # sign for it to lock automatically, it says "lock" and lock doesn't come out to connect with the door...

Make sure the internal switch set correctly for the right/left side hinged door.

I actually show the steps on how to add a fingerprint in the video, or refer to your instruction booklet, it was pretty easy.

The lock is connected to my phone but I can't use the fingerprint access or pass code. Not sure where I went wrong but I can't figure this out. It's there a way to start from the beginning? I tried taking the battery out, resting the lock but it won't take any passcode. Can you help me?

I would just try the reset button, it takes back to factory settings, use the factory passcode
