I got it! Reset holding down the button by the batteries 5 seconds; press 0000, lock button; then 1, lock button; then 1111 wait 2 seconds while it flashes; then type in new desired user code and press the lock button ; should hear 2 beeps….
Seriously, just use the directions on the inside of the cover. I didn’t know they were there until I saw them in the video at which point I paused it and figured it out from there. This video is helpful but at the same time confusing. Thanks ferr postin fella
Yeah, I was going crazy looking for the book with the directions for how to change the code and forgot they were on the darn thing!! 😂

THIS WORKS I’LL EXPLAIN, PLEASE READ
To add a new passcode
-hold the set button until it beeps
-type in the pc code (it should be 123456)
-press the enter button (the lock button)
-type in 20
- press the enter button (the lock button)
-add in your new password 4-6 digits
-press the enter button (the lock button)
-finally press the set button
To change the default combination (i normally set it to be the same as my passcode)
-hold the set button until it beeps
-type in the pc code (123456)
-press enter (the lock button)
-type in 10
-press enter (the lock button)
-type in the new pc code (6 digits) [for me I put it to be the same as the User code that way the default code doesn’t unlock the door]
-press enter (the lock button)
-press the set button

Hey...whenever i play the set button, and then type in the passcode, and then the Lock button, it locks the door instead of letting me change the codes =\

To change your programming code (PC), follow the instructions written on the lock and make sure that the new code is 6 digits otherwise it won’t work. You’re welcome
Thank you, this was one of my difficulties. The other was that I needed a separate user code, my new master code couldn't act as an unlock code, unlike my old (and failed) Schlage lock.

I was never given the deadbolt code by my landlord and its no longer the factory code of 1-6 😢 how can i reset it without the code?

I followed the instruction and it works but, whenever I enter the programming code it's still unlocking it means I have two passcode the new one and the default PC. What's the problem? How can I remove the programming code?
