The Dji Pocket 2 is a light weight yet powerful gimbal stabilized 4k camera. In this video I am walking you through all the Settings you can change directly on the camera without the need for the DJI osmo pocket 2 app. All dji pocket 2 settings shown can also be changed by the dji somo pocket 2 app in the settings menue.

How do you activate the HDR mode? I see there's a high quality choice. But I'm not seeing HDR. I checked for any firmware updates and nothing is showing
programmable time lapse mode with moving gimbal. Very cool feature and made me choose it over a nice Sony Prime Lens for my 6100
Dude, thank you. I took it out of the box and drove myself nuts by trying to just get it to face front and get off me. In 10 minutes you taught me more than I could figure out on my own in an entire battery cycle. I'm very grateful.

Try chanching from PAL to NTSC or the other way around.

No idea. and I also suggest leaving it this way. Should you run out of battery or your sd-card gets corrupted only the latest part gets it and not all of them.
Thank you for the detailed explanation. I really appreciate it. I haven't bought this camera, but I was wondering, is there an option to completely turned off the audio recording? (Reason : save time for editing, my clients always requested the unedited / mute video). Thank you :)
No there's no way to do this. But either muteing a video track or batch processing without audio shouldn't be too time consuming.
Good run through, thanks. Maybe a run through the functions of the buttons would be useful, but perhaps that is too small a subject for a dedicated video. But some people don't realise what they can do (eg full gimbal lock is a button-only function I think).

You should be able to set the date in the app.

In Pro you get access to some more settings thats right.
Hey Greenbox. Any ideas as to why the options on my accessories screen are not highlighted? I can only select the WP mode, but the other options on the screen for stick control/speed and the do it all wifi aren't highlighted or letting me select them.

Depends on what motion you want to compensate. It's really a testing and seeing what works.

I have a question to ask you. I often make videos that I take a walk, and the quality of the video is very satisfying.
However, multiple 4-gigabyte files are created. It's the trouble and hassle of having to merge files into one again.
Can I know how to create a single file?
Or I'd like to increase the size of the file being made. Is it possible?

It's not possible to create longer/bigger files, this is a camera limitation.

As I thought more about this, there seems to be 2 picture quality modes: high quality and battery saver. If you could also check, if it lets you enable DClike + 4k60 + High quality, all 3 at the same time, I would greatly appreciate it :)
If not, what's the highest frame rate it will allow you to enable DClike and High Quality. Thank you.
Quality is only possible in 4k 30 max

I have not seen this option so far, you might be able to find it in the app settings.
I just got this camera and I’m wondering how I can get my footage off the camera and onto my iPad so I can edit with iMovie or would you recommend the DJI editor?
you should be able to transfer data using the USB cable. You can edito the videos in whatever tool you are most comftable with.
Hi great video. I cant hear playback when I watch the video on the pocket 2. Any advice?
Now where you point that out, I never tested this. I think there are no speekers in the Pocket 2. Can you test using you phone it it recorded audio?

I´ll try to connect the possibilities with Røde wireless mike it sounds better and use it asa repoter mike . I have not yet done so test, but as far full HD it ok for most work and afterword I just use Final cut pro. but it a good little Toy
It is a perfect toy for being flexible and fast.

Q: before resetting the whole device in setting, when I ever I made a video before, it makes like it is making as back camera (like a mobile camera) but after the resetting now it makes a video as I make from a selfie mirror camera, I make video holding a thing in right hand but when I preview that video it shows that it's in left hand so I want to know how to fix this problem in setting ?? please I need your help for this
Where do you preview the video? Have you looked at the file itself on a computer yet?
Some consumer cameras show a mirrored camera image when previewing in the app.

I did not stop it but you can run from a battery bank anyway if you want to.

Yes with the do it all handle you can directly stream to the internet.
oh sorry. another question. thanks danka. I read it won't utilize a 256gb card. most i see use 128. my question. HOW much recording in 4K, do you get on 128 card? and sorry, one more question. I heard it overheats when shooting for a while in 4K. does it shut down, or keep going when it gets warm?
I don't know about the limitations of SD cards. I only used 32GB cards. The cam never shut down due to heat with me, however I did not run it for a super long time.
1 Min of 4K was about 512MB if I remember correctly.

Yes using the do it all handle or the connector (USB / lightning) on the front side
Does the DJI Pocket 2 have HDR mode? If so, how do we access it?
As from m understand DJI refferes to it's FLAT Profile as HDR video. So changing the color profile should.do the truck.
If you switched from shooting video from, say, 60fps to 24fps in regular mode, does the shutter speed automatically change to the needed number for the 180 rule (or whatever it's called), or do you have to go to Pro mode and switch it over?
In auto the shutter will be used to control the amount of light getting in. That can be 180°, but it can also be 40° 10° or literally any other number. If you want to set it to 180° you would have to set it manually based on your frame rate.
Cool, so if I want to shoot at 24fps, I have to go into Pro mode and manually adjust to 1/50th shutter speed (and 1/120 for 60fps, etc.)?

I can't exactly remember, but I think it’s changing the gimbal modes like FPV.
I am in possession of a DJI pocket 2 camera. I find that when ever I am taking video in selfie mode the picture or video getting flipped. The right side goes to the left and vice versa. I would request you to please guide me how to correct the image or the video in the camera itself and any solutions to correct the same. Please guide

Does Flat Color mean it's on the Neautral Shooting Mode? Stupid question I know. But anxious.e need to know.
Flat color means you need to edit the colors of the video after you shot it, to make the footage look good.

Not really, that would be Raw. It's a way to capture a bigger dynamic range without changing the actual structure of the file but the visual look of it.

If I'm not mistaken there should be an option in the app for that.

I don't know, but fairly high.
How do I stop the gimbal from moving and just have the camera point where I aim it?
You can not 100% disable the gimbal. However, in POV mode the camera will point towards the direction you hold your device and will smooth out your movements.
If you need an unstabilized camera this might be the wrong product for you.

I believe it does cut the videos as well to make the files easier to process.

I have a DJI Pocket 2 camera which is not able to connect to my Huawei Mate 40 Pro . Tried to connect and activate thru DJI Mimo app on the phone several times ,but not successful.
Does any one know who to activate . With Samsung mobile phone it is possible . While trying to activate with Huawei phone, thru the DJI Mimo app, after searching for some time , it says not found.
This sounds like an issue you should raise to the DJI support.

When you remove the cover, it has better contact for the connection Only disadvantage is that we have to remove the cover of the smart phone if we wish to connect with the DJI pocket 2 camera .
I keep getting slow sd card speed error, with a Sandisk Extreme Pro 256GB. Should definitely be fast enough.
According to the supported SD cards for this product from DJI the SanDisk Extreme Plus is only recommended up to 128GB (SanDisk Extreme Plus 128GB V30 A1 UHS-I Speed Grade 3 microSDXC)
@@GreenBoxMedia Ah is that so? I read somewhere that it should be a max 256 GB SDHC/SDXC UHS-I Speed Grade 1 or UHS-I Speed Grade 3 microSD. Didn't know that specific manufacturers had their own limits. Thanks for the information though!

Next time . Use a little touch pen instead of your finger and then use the left side of the screen, to set your importent message in text . and the take your time and not too fast. Make some exampel how to use it diferet situation on under different circumstance all in the same way you hav don this one

Yes In terms of numbers it's the low limit, in terms of color temperature it's the upper limit. (coold to warm)
Hi, I have a question. If I pause whilst recording a video, how much time do I have to resume the recording before the screen goes off and hence, stopping that particular footage?
As soon as you stop the recording the file will be closed and when you resume your recording a new video File will be created.
The time it takes for the screen to take of should be configurable inside the app.
@@GreenBoxMedia thanks for the response. However, when recording footage, you can pause it by holding onto the record button, my question is how long the do you have to resume that particular footage instead of it going off which will mean a new footage is started.

@@GreenBoxMedia my final question, I promise! Just in receiving my tomorrow and so asking some important questions. So I use an android and apparently the dji app is terrible for viewing footage and only works well with ios. Was wondering what other ways I can view my shot footage?
