Focus on pushing forward only, as straight and steady as you can. What helps is using a shorter stick/ pole and just leaning forward using you're knees and body (but standing stationary) Then hit the right arrow on your phone thumb control to initiate roll. It helps if you're 4K 60. Then in post, find the smoothest part of the movement. Give yourself time to perfect. I've had a lot of practice and while it's unfair that I made it look easy without this disclaimer, I did not do any trickery or modification in post. It can be done with practice. Good luck bro!

It’s unbelievable how far technology has taken us. Just a few short years ago, this could only have been done with high-end Hollywood cameras. And you did this all by yourself with this new hand-held $350 camera?? That was epic. I was blown away, and I especially LOVED the parallax effect. What a creative way to make that work. It’s like a David Fincher move!
You took the footage to the next level, it's not the DJI, it's you! Love your videos, please make more videos like this with an insight in your mindset on how to shoot, what to shoot. Josh my man, you are a video boss💪 Can't wait for your next video✌
As I could see, it doesn't matter that much what kind of equipment you have in your hands, but what sort of creativity you have in your mind, instead. Awesome video! 👏
Yeah shot on inspire 2....last I checked it's not a no-fly zone. As long as you're not launching from a park, or interfering with sheriffs or sightseeing helicopters in the area, all is legal.
When I export renders, I have a profile called TH-cam, which is based on their recommendations. I suspect the 360p issue may have something to do with the format you upload to TH-cam; it processes faster if you follow their recommended settings.

Hey first watch of one of your videos as I recently bought an Osmo Pocket. I did real estate for 12 years and was known for how I shot homes. Great job. Now I am moving into videography and loved your vid. Thanks a ton. Now Subscribed.
Absolutely brilliant work. I have just bought a Osmo Pocket with the idea of doing some filming work with it. But your creativity has blown me away. I originally had intended to film fishing trips (some of my friends are fishing guides and want someone to film their clients). However an estate agent has approached me to shoot some houses for them. You have certainly opened my eyes. Thanks Andy H (New Zealand)
You did a great job to make them match. The trick is to avoid shots that contain fine details or motion (or both together) that confounds the compression algorithm and causes obvious compression artifacts. This is difficult to avoid when the bit-rate of the Osmo Pocket is limited to 100Mbps. Question: What were the other cameras in the shoot? Obviously one camera was a drone camera, but what other cameras do we see, and what codec did you choose for them? BMPCC4K with BRAWQ5 perhaps? My biggest fear was the pool shot. Where I typically see the compression artifacts go *horrific* in Osmo Pocket and Hero7 shots is fine wavelets and turbulence in water. Where you showed the patterns in the pool water the details were somewhat coarser than where the compression artifacts appear in spades, so you managed to get away with the pool shot. Good job showing what the Osmo Pocket camera can do when handled carefully to avoid getting into situations where its limitations blow up shots.
Your "technocrane" is absolutely brilliant!!! I've watched a ton of videos about the Pocket 2 and nobody has brought up the idea of using the cable extension to move the phone away from the camera. Awesome!! Thanks so much.
