I have spent months studying best natural cure for high blood pressure and found a great resource at Wilfs Calmer Plan (google it if you are interested)
There are a few components to natural cures for high blood pressure. One resource I found that successfully combines these is the Wilfs Calmer Plan (google it if you're interested) definately the most helpful blueprint that I've heard of. Check out the amazing info .
122/82 130/76 108/68 150/90 90/60 112/72 These were the numbers i got when i did this my first month of nursing school and watched this video. The standard is within 4. I was spot on or within 2 on all of these so i felt good. Anyway i wanna say to all the nursing students out there just starting school, this is MUCH easier in real life, when your instructor isn't standing over our shoulder and making you check off on it.
gphillimo blood pressure Really that's a very important spot for right now where it what is that site I was on the downside will be hundreds of the problem here
I'm in training to become a EMT, and its very stressful and when i'm stressed, I have a hard time thinking straight. This video really helped me truely understand taking vitals. Thank you.
This has been by far the best explanation ever! My NREMT is Monday & I kept having issues with the basics. I was a covid student& basically had to teach my self, didn't get to go on clinicals or anything. Thank you so much !!
Great teaching tool! I used it for my class. With this remote learning, such posts are very valuable. Just a gentle recommendation: the needle moves too fast. The standard rule for blood pressure measurement is 5 mm/sec as you let out the air from the Riva-Rocci cuff. Sometimes, the rate of deflation was 10 mm/sec. An MD may be okay with it but to a newbie, this may be a bit challenging. If the needle were slowed down, (I don't know if the simulation machine can do that), then the readings would be much more accurate for the students. Thank you for making this fine video.
This is one of the better one out there. It has really helped me develop my ear to hear the BP sounds. I turn the volume down low so I can really test my hearing.
Thanks for the video, My mother just came back from the Heart Hospital and is required to have her BP monitored. Through this video, I have learned how to read the SYS/DIS was able to get within 2 on a couple of readings and exact on others.. 11/13/2014
This teaching is so awesome! Well good explained and easy to understand. I actually learned how to do this and by getting an idea of how to read and take blood pressure just looking at this video! I give it 2 thumbs up!
Omg tytyty i Never understand this til now my teacher told us to add 30 to the beats you didn’t hear it when first pumping, and then decrease it til you hear the first beat on the down. I was like what…? And she still made it more confusing for me to understand. But this video here with the actual practice really helped out. It’s so simple and straight to the point, my professor just making us take the longer way to get BP done.
Oh my life you have just clarified everything within 10mins. I got 5/6 and 3 on the spot right. 1 was over the 4mmHg. But yeah thank you so much for making this video.
wow its amazing. i am medical student. i learnt how to recored the reading while listening to the sounds. thanks for the perfect manipulation with simulator.
Thank you so much,I did not get it from the class for the first time but thank you so much,i was able to rewind it for over 30 minutes until I got it.slow learners like us need such good explanation on how to go about it..D.T.
Thank you so much for posting this!!! Sometimes it is hard to know if I am hearing the sound at the appropriate time, especially that first sound, this is a life saver and I will listen again for practice sake!!!
I really wish it was this easy to hear irl. However, irl, there's always the sound of the plastic tube rubbing against each other while doing it and it can get really distracting from time to time
Perfect!! Now all I want is the WHY's..... WHY do you hear the first Systolic beat of the heart once the sphygmomanometer pressure is reduce from it's highest pressure???? I'm guessing that the cuff pressure is greater than that of the heart pressure so preventing blood flow & therefore no heart beat sound detected in the stethoscope. WHY do we NOT hear the pulse through the stethoscope when the pressure is reduced in the sphygmomanometer i.e the diastolic?????? ANYONE??
This is so well done. I would suggest showing the column of mercury rising to explain why that unit was chosen. It just makes it relatable. Thank you so much! (Middle school science teacher of anatomy and physiology)
This is a good video. I am not a medical practitioner. But I have this need to learn the equipment and how to take BP's for my Parents and Gran. Below were my answers on one take. 124/84 mmHg 132/78 mmHg 110/70 mmHg 150/92 mmHg 90/62 mmHg 114/72 mmHg Not bad, eh?
thank you for talking slow and clear and explaining what things are. :)
