I never had a near death experience, but since I was a child I was sick with fear. There was a lot of pain in our family and it came on to my soul...At about 11 years old I prayed to the Blessed Mother, (I'm Catholic) at a novina. One night, in a dream, or dream like, state...I felt the most beautiful darkness. It was like a warm blanket of velvet. I felt her there but i did not see her. I felt so safe like being the womb...the love was delicious... After this, the fear of death left me to the point I had a craving to go home to heaven...I am 78 years old now and I still have a longing to go home when it is my time...
I had a widowmaker heart attack not too long ago. It was very painful until it wasn't. I could sense the pain but wasn't in pain any longer. A monologue went off in my head. "Dying isn'tt so bad." I was really calm. Paramedics arrived and I was back to being in the moment.

I was blessed to meet Fr Spitzer in a TSA line in Denver. He was in Boulder on an apologetics mission. He got me to read his book on the proof of the existence of God. He’s an incredible. Quite the person!

My dad died recently. A few days before he died he was laughing and talking to someone. He kept saying I saw. He couldn’t explain to us what he was. I hope he didn’t suffer when he died. He was always afraid to die.

I’ve been reading a Very Enlightening Book Called Imagine Heaven by John Burke. It’s been one of the most Fascinating Books I’ve read. I would encourage anyone to check this book out. Blind people are describing seeing for the first time. It’s filled with Several different stories that have opened my mind to the Beauty of Heaven along with some descriptions of encounters with Hell. It’s a New York Times Best Selling Book. And Definitely Worth Reading. I heard Colton’s story just recently and it’s Absolutely Incredible! 🙏

We should always say the Hail Mary because we need a guide at the moment of death because it is that time when we are most vulnerable to being swept up by evil. My question is WHERE IS THE GUARDIAN ANGHEL? Is out planning his retirement or something? Why do we have to make special plans to have someone there to receive us. Personally I think my guardian angel spends most of his time at the beach. He certainly isn't around here. And why would you be vulnerable to anything like that? If you lived a good life and are destined for heaven why would God leave you hanging out there for a major mugging. You would think He would send someone to help.

I would be sceptical of these near death experiences, we don't know if these people were actually dead in the first place or in some other state. We also know that at the time of death the demons are very heavely at work. Also last I checked you'd had to be in the state of grace to go to Heaven. I don't see 85% of all people who claim to have these experiences being in the state of grace. Also how does their experience impact their lives after coming back, if it results in them continuing in a life sin and with a mindset of being assured they will go to Heaven, then that's the sin of presumption. Demons can take the shape of dead relatives and convey hidden knowledge in order to deceive, and also fill you with a loving feeling, the same state many new agers feel when they claim to connect with the divine....

Near death experiences are real and they happen quite often and many are very well documented and proven. I have noticed that this usually happens to non catholics and my only guess could be is that God wants to orient them to the right path. As Jesus said in Luke 5, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick" and i think these people doubt there may be an afterlife or God. I have watched some people's testimonies here on youtube of their NDE and it's always had a positive effect for those people. They came back changed, wanting to do better, willing to make sacrifice. Can't speak for everyone though.

I would like to share some verses of the Quran in which God describes Himself.
For clarification, Allah is the Arabic name of the one and only god, the Creator. It is also the name of God in Aramaic, the language of Jesus pbuh, and it is with this name that Jesus addressed God.
