    I remember years ago when i discovered the TPS/AE table with my turbo 4 cylinder car with MS1. I was free revving it in the garage and playing with the adjustments and wow! I had that thing roaring like a lion. i think the manual said to see if you could "juggle" the rpms by revving the engine and on the way down, Rev it again. There should be very crisp revs without stumbling. Great video🏆

    Dude all these videos are so informative and helped calm my fears of tuning my car myself. Thanks dude

    Stumbled on your videos just doing research and you have saved my sanity on a lot lol. Appreciate the breakdowns of what some setting mean

      @@TurbineResearch I'm there with you! I just learned how much fun these engines are. Especially with a good tune and my favorite standalone - Megasquirt ECUs.

    Good quick explanation, I'll be adjusting this later! I have gsxr throttle bodies on an eunos roadster that bogs/spits back through the throttle bodies why you try and rev it

    i did this on the ecumaster with the help of the lambda sensor, to get it somwhere in the ball park and to know where it sits. on the lean or rich side.
    later, i went for the engine feel.
    also engine temp plays a huge role. I had issues with a cold engine cutting out, had it spray like 200% of fuel while cold. ooof! at least it washes the carbon out of the rings. lol

      I agree engine feel is most important. Give the engine want it wants to be happy is best

    Great to see this video, im actualy have too smooth up my tune as when i deaccelerate / or shifting when driving the RPM's are lowering so fast that shifting is not so smooth, Would you think looking at the 'Decel Fuel Amount' would help that a bit ??

    Well. Got a question you might be able to help. Upgraded my car to a 95mm gm throttle body and Holley ls intake on a 3.0l v6 also has 400cc injectors high impedence. Im assuming accel enrichment would have to be more for these kind of mods..Also its an all-motor build. Car likes to stumble when you give it throttle. Like it runs out of gas. So accel enrichment could very well be the problem. Stock tb was 60mm and injectors were 225cc..Injector size and dead times have already been set.

    Can you use tps wot curve under accel enrichment settings do the same or similar ?

    Where would you look first if you have a sputter between 3 and 4 k rpms on slow steady pulls (normal driving) but works fine if you were to just floor it?

      Check your afr in the areas that it sputters and make sure the fuel map is smooth

    Re-watching your video and i have a question. What is considered a small injector or a big injector? A 19lb injector is small. A 120lb injector is big, but is a 60lb injector big? Is a 42lb injector small? It does it depend on the size of the engine compared to the size of the injector used on it? Thanks

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The injector size is relatively to engine displacement, hp goals and fuel type. When I say big injectors it’s mostly a generalization for anything bigger than factory

      @PANTYEATR1 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TurbineResearch thanks for your reply and i was thinking the same thing and you are correct, but is there a rough size table, going from small to large, that would generally be agreed on, what a small injector would be and when you would be getting into big injector territory?

    this no longer seems to be valid since it's using a % of added fuel not PW? Am I crazy? It won't allow me to add anything under 1

      You can't type a number less than one. You need to use the arrows to go lower than one for some reason

    I went from 24lb to 60lb injectors recently should I scale the values by about 40% of current? 24/60?

    • @TurbineResearch
