I’ve invested in a few of the alt sculpts throughout my time with Malifaux. My favorite part is trying to kitbash/proxy all the models in a Keyword that don’t explicitly have a “counts as” model.

Love the vid as always, but small note: the Other Side 2-player starter is both entirely cross-compatible w/Malifaux, the characters (Sonnia, Kirai and their crews) cross over (they aren't proxies/counts-as).

Chibi Guildball is probably the most 1:1 mapping of models that are clearly something else but can be used as the original model. aristeia having the models be able to pull double duty in both games is real smart, much like Malifaux/The Other Side crossover models.

Super cool box. My only mild complaint about these is they aren't doing the whole keyword! If I want to play a themed Transmortis I'll need to add a bunch of 3rd party proxies to fit.

What I love about Malifaux’s limited release models is how inexpensive and accessible they are! GW’s prices just keep going up and up and up with more and more limited stock but Malifaux feels just right as far as market supply goes and with a fair price for your miniature’s quality.

Nightmare Edition=First run of limited edition models (Lord Chompy Bits was the first Nightmare Edition.) Usually they're only available for Gen Con. Rotten Harvest= Yearly Painting Competition. Iconic=whatever they want to throw in. I was a Henchman (Game Rep) since Wyrd started that program and got my Nightmare Teddy and Chompy from working Gen Con. Oh and you completely forgot the "Miss" figures. Again, 1 at GenCon. That whole thing ya did there trying to connect it to a particular game was interesting but ya kinda just pulled it out of your ass there. Otherwise great way to show how these kits are amazing compared to everything else.
The problem with your theory is this year’s Rotten Harvest is based at least in part, off Young Frankenstein, not solely the original

On the topic of Alt sculpts I love what people design as stls/minis online for Marvel crisis. I plan on running spider man 2099 model as "Amazing Spider-Man" until he officially comes to the game!

The fact that a miniature company triggered that wonderful sequence to the front of my mind ensures that I will keep buying Wyrd products until there are no more to buy! My wargaming disposable income has shifted 100% to Wyrd, specifically Malifaux, and I don't know when, if ever, I will go back to a workshop that makes games.

I played Malfaux early on, until they pissed in my face in both the Kickstarter, and the abuse they decided to dole out towards the end of 2d edition.
