I am from Bosnia. My Grandparents told me stories on how they hid Jews in their houses and protected them. Lots of Muslims were killed for doing it but never stopped. Even though Serbians were killing Bosnian Muslims and committing a genocide that no one talks about as Jews were the main topic in WW2 we still defended them.

@@BenitoAdolfit was not Isreal then at that time! It was just the city Jerusalem and it was occupied by the Romans who prosecuted the Jews and Arabs equally! They were foreigner from Europe! Actually the first thing he did when he took over the city he protected the churchs and he ordered the return of the Jews to the city since they were expelled from the city by the rollers and the church so he ordered 80 Jews family to be relocated in the city to give them their rights to be there! After the creation of Israel, many Arab Jews voluntary fled Yemen, Iraq, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to settle in occupied Palestine and today the Zionist depict a chart stating the decrease of arab Jews from these lands as a claim of fleeing persecution, but Ironically the move happened the year the state was created.

I got a hell of a lesson listening to this. My father, who has recently passed, use to rage about what Israel was doing to the Palestinians since I was a child. He taught me more than school and what the news spoke of at the time combined. We are not Muslim, we are black Caribbean people (Guyanese respectively, though I am American born) of no particular religious beliefs, though I do thoroughly believe in God. This lecture confirmed everything my father would rant about, but I would never gear about anywhere else. No one but he would speak on the fact that Muslims graciously sheltered the Jewish people from Hitler, and Jews turned around and took over their land and decided was their promised land and ended up getting a country supported by the west who had no rights to give away and recognize land that wasn't theirs. He told me of the wars and rock throwing when I was 12-13 years old. I'm 39 now, so that was back in the 90s my father knowing or unknowingly opened my mind to ideas that weren't reported very much, if at all, in the West. Thank you for confirming his knowledge. God knows the truth and the evils that have happened over time, and those who exploit others will have to deal with what they have reaped in their soul at the end.

You missed a lot of it. 1492 Spanish Inquisition but also 1492 discovery of America. The expelled Jews of Spain hardly were killed. They just fake converted and were called Conversos who eventually left and enslaved the African people and started up slavery. Conversos were Jews who converted to Christianity but remained part of the Jewish community, and were also known as "New Christians" or "Maranos". They were an integral part of Spanish and Portuguese expeditions to the Americas, including the Caribbean, and played a significant role in the colonial struggles of European powers. There is a strong historical theory that Christopher Columbus was a "converso," meaning he was a Jewish person who converted to Catholicism, which would make him a "New Christian" and potentially explain why he faced some suspicion in Spain while exploring the Caribbean; this theory is based on evidence like his family background and the historical context of Spanish Inquisition against Jewish converts. While there is no definitive proof that Henry the Navigator was a "converso" (a converted Jew), there is some speculation among historians that he may have had connections to the Jewish community in Portugal, particularly considering the time period and the widespread presence of conversos in Portuguese society during his life. Upon fleeing Spain and Portugal, some of these Jews became pirates and turned to attacking the Catholic empires' shipping as both Barbary corsairs from their refuge in the Ottoman dominions, as well as privateers bearing letters of marque from Spanish rivals such as the United Netherlands.

And those same Jews enslaved during the Inquisition were black Jews. This is what started the Slave Trade. The Fall of Grenada over took the Jews in Spain and sent them to America and sold some to the Arabs. This was a major War and turning point for Europeans and the USA. This is why they start with the lie that Christopher Columbus founded America. They just skip over how that came about.

Thank you for presenting so many ironies of history, Sheikh. I find it strange that the Antisemitism of European and Extremist Christian history has been conveniently transferred to Muslims by the mainstream media.
(What an embarrassment for those who think they gave the world freedom of religion and respect for diversity -both qualities found directly in our Quran, and Prophet, peace be upon him). Wishing those ignorant, new-atheist ex-Muslims would watch this and begin studying their rejected religion to find love for Allah -if they still have an OverSoul connected to Divine Mercy).
Heartbreaking and mind-boggling how such misunderstandings were created by racists on purpose to feed the masses.

The very idea of "antisemitism" is a logical fallacy, one that they created themselves to protect themselves from criticism, as stated by the founder of zionism himself, Theodore Herzl. The idea that people have a problem with them because they are "chosen" rather than having a problem with them because of their exploitative commercial dealings is, in and of itself, SUPREMACIST.

In 1200 BCE, both the Philistines (Peleset in Hebrew) and the Hebrews settled in Canaan. The Philistines coming from the Greek Aegean Islands and the Hebrews coming from Egypt, by way of the Arabian Peninsula. In 1175 BCE, the Philistines founded the first majority Philistine state, Philistia (Pelesheth in Hebrew). In 1047 BCE, the Hebrews joined the native Canaanites to form the Kingdom of Israel, within which was a Jewish majority city-state called Judah. Judah (Yehuda in Hebrew) didn’t gain independence from the Kingdom of Israel until 930 BCE, meaning an ethnic Philistine state existed over 200 years before an ethnic Jewish state. The Kingdom of Israel was majority Canaanite. Judah was destroyed by the Babylonians in 587 BCE, after which there was no longer a Jewish state. Contemporary Jews took their name from Judah, where the ethno-religion was founded around 930 BCE. Under the Romans the land was "Palaestina", under the Byzantines the land was "Palaestina Prima", under the Ottomans the land was "Filistin", under the British the land was "Palestine" until 1948, when the land was partitioned to form the beginning Greater Israel. Genetic sampling shows Palestinians have predominantly Canaanite & Philistine DNA, with traces of Phoenician DNA in northern Palestine and Arabian DNA in eastern Palestine. Indisputably, the Palestinians have continuously lived on the land for over 3,200 years, and established a state first. The Canaanites lived on the land 800 years longer, and are the descendants of Canaan and the Canaanite majority states of the Kingdom of Israel. Ashkenazi Jews which founded Greater Israel, and have consistently held disproportionate control, have 40% European DNA.
Regardless, claiming land based on a centuries old self-authored book is flimsy, to say the least.

Yes, my dear brothers, my beloved Palestine is the cradle of Christianity and Judaism, and it contains Al-Aqsa, the third holiest place for us Muslims in Palestine. Bethlehem, the cradle of Christ, is a blessed land, and it is the holy land, and it has been our land for tens of thousands of years, and it is the land of the Canaanite Arabs, the original Palestinian people, and they have lived in it since the Islamic conquest in the era. The Umayyad, Abbasid and Ottoman Arabs, Muslims, Christians and Jews are like brothers and neighbors under Palestinian rule to the owners of the land, but the Zionists came and the British occupation brought them to our land as compensation to the Jews for what they did to them Hitler. The question here is that who did the Holocaust, the Germans, why do I, the Palestinian Arab, pay the price? Why not Germany? Why do I, the Muslim, pay the price for crimes? Committed by the Germans and Nazi Europe, fascism is the root of all evil in the world. Our problem is the occupation🙏Palestine is an area of more than 27 thousand square kilometers and is on the borders of Egypt and Jordan, which historically is part of Palestine and the people of Jordan, more than 70 percent of whom are of Palestinian origin, but Britain made them a state and brought agents to the Jordanian ruling dynasty in order to rule Jordan and protect the occupation from the Jordanian-Palestinian people Palestine Its capital, Jerusalem, is the land of the Palestinian people for tens of thousands of years. It is the cradle of Christianity and Judaism, and it is the third holiest place for us Muslims. It is a land where most of God’s prophets lived, were born, and died. It is the holy and blessed land and the land of the Palestinian and Arab people. Muslims, Jews, and Christians lived there for thousands of years as neighbors and brothers before the Zionists occupied our land. Britain brought them in the Balfour Declaration to occupy our land. Those who committed the Holocaust against the Jews were the Germans and the West, not me.🙏🙏🙏اللهم انصر الشعب الفلسطيني

The difference in how the Jews were treated in a Christian land V a Muslim land? In England in the Victorian period of massive prosperity and wealth, the Jews often lived in the finest areas, what we called merchant housing. In the late 19th C one of the top Jewish community leaders in England bragged to Theodore Hertzl that they controlled Great Britain through publishing and political interests, so why would they need their own Jewish state!

Why so many Muslims, lecturers, scholars and influencers of the sunni confession are either silent or defending the Jews, lately, after what they're doing in Palestine and Lebanon? Do you think the europeans Zionist Jews from Israel are the ones Allah s.w.t talks about in the holy Quran as Ahlul Kitab? I am sure that they are closer to being the enemies of Allah and His prophets for their crimes and arrogance and their corruption on the earth. they are the ones that Allah s.w.t curses and threatens with hellfire for their misguidance and wickedness, they are no Ahlul Kitab, they are mushriqin. What is the point of talking positively about them when they are now muslims's worst enemies. Look at wahabbi jihadists how they stayed silent and passive throughout a whole year when the Zionists were slaughtering the Muslims and Palestine, but now they have activated to fight in Syria who happens to be Israel and US enemies. They never take on the enemies of the Zionist but are ready to fight the Muslims, particularly the enemies of the Zionists

As a Jew, I know very well that Muslims and Jews generally got along and lived together pretty much in peace, for centuries - but, that was centuries ago. There have always been, and still are, Muslims who show no animosity toward Jews, but they themselves, nowadays, are often abused by their own communities. The friction was sporadic until Jews started returning, in small numbers, to their historic homeland in the 1800's. During WW2, the Mufti of Jerusalem aligned the Arab world with Hitler and his plans for the future of the Jews ... and the rest is history.

Most fascinating talk. Grateful for the subtitles to follow along for the names etc which are not familiar or easy for my ear. A joined up potted history for me to digest. I wish we humans could celebrate what differences we have instead of fearing and hating. Underneath, we are all the same, loved by God (no matter the religion we choose or are born into,) and sacred. So many people's, throughout history have experienced persecution; holy wars but to me they are always perversions of God's law for greed and power. We don't need to study for decades to know what is right. Those basics are taught early. Love one another as yourself etc. when people and nations war, I see su1c1de. When we come together in peace and collaboration we achieve great and wonderful things. There is purpose in God's law. Thanks for telling this story for us to hear.

Ethnocentrism is a major factor in the divisions among members of different ethnicities, races, and religious groups. It's the belief that one's ethnic group is superior to another. Ethnocentric individuals believe they are better than other individuals for reasons based solely on their heritage.
Accusation in a mirror (AiM) (also called mirror politics, mirror propaganda, mirror image propaganda, or a mirror argument) is a technique often used in the context of hate speech incitement, where one falsely attributes one's own motives and/or intentions to one's adversaries.
