Many people don't realize that 1965 - 70 Half Dollars (only) are 40% silver.
22:54 Why would you throw money into the dumpster? Crazy!
Max, it was probably a collection of a parent that had passed away, & it was just stuck in a plain old container, kids cleaning out the house just thought it was trash. It had to have been thrown away by accident. Just sayin’
@@hummingbird275 an old relative of mine passed away a few years ago. She had a backyard shed full of junk. We're just tossing stuff away because we were tired of dealing with all the stuff. Just by chance I noticed a $100 savings bond in a box. Ended up finding 53 of them. Why she would keep that in a shed out back where mice or thieves could get to it is beyond me. But, you just never know what you're gonna find.
The rewards for what you do are awesome! Keep going!
My day is a little bit brighter after watching your videos
The Canadian nickel has a beaver on it not an otter. Lol
Need to check those coins! True recycling ♻️
Just because some of the coins aren't old doesn't mean their not valuable. Look for varieties also. Amazing finds 😎
@john d all denominations of coins have varieties. It's amazing how much value your change can possibly hold.
Scrap and Pallet Man, Paul, must be praying for you, Mikey! Not nuts but blessings.. Awesome score, bro!!!
Yes! The minute I saw those pallets. I thought of Paul!
DEEP PURPLE, SMOKE ON THE WATER. GREAT EXCITING VIDEO, THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO.
Awwww you have a good heart about the money..
you don't have to go to the gym, you get your workout doing this lol
Hey Mike I have to say that watching you makes my evening complete, Love ya man.
The way only certain coins were in the small coin bags says those were being protected which means they are quite possibly minting ERROR COINS which can be worth A LOT so research and CLOSELY examine EACH OF THEM in those bags before just spending them.
Excellent find.
He went and bought a cola with a 1944 copper penny.
@@jamesh4966 Since ALL 1944 pennies were copper and only the 1943 pennies were steel that would make sense , but it'd still be sad to spend a wheat penny needlessly even if it doesn't have much value
@@todddenio3200 They were bronze, actually, and they were cents.
Pennies were British.
'Off metal error' cents of 1943 bronze and 1944 steel do exist and tend to have very high value.
Where is a security guard when you need one. For the lifting hehehehe
There was about 15 Morgan silver dollars and there was only 1 real gold coin= very small but I sold it for $80 and that quite a bit in the early 2000's! And there were full coin sets and paper money and lots of fun stuff!! I still own most of it! 😃
Coin collectors were cringing when you were throwing that silver quarter on the ground.
Mike, I have done a little dumpster diving myself. And l"be have found a whole lot of great stuff.
David, at my place in the Netherlands and in Germany it is illegal to pull stuff out of other people containers. You could get arested around here. The moment you dump something in a container / bin , it belongs to that company . What says your law? Greetings. ( not acusing anyone just asking)
That's an Australian 5 cents. That's so cool to find something like that. Keep up the great work.
20 cent coin mate to big to be 5 cents
Absolutely love your videos. Amazing some of the things you find! You've got a fan here. Keep on scrapping y'all!
Hell yeah you like getting in... Tearing it up!
Dang Mike you work hard for the money or not lol stay safe stay blessed
I just got back from dumpster diving. Some lady with trump stickers all over her car, started hassling me and I was gathering wire and copper pipe out of a dumpster. She called the police on me. The cops showed up, she made such a spectacle, he cuffed her, towed her car and took her away after she got unruly with me and the cop. The cop checked out my little score and asked me if I did any good today. lol
Man you ran into a Karen. Glad it worked in you favor 🤯🤯🤯🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sounds more what a Biden fan would do
@Mickey Mouse You wish. 🤣
@@mickeymouse6487 I agree
THAT'S PERFECT
Lot of respect for you man good luck ❤️
mike love your content i've been scrapping the last 20 plus yrs were i use trailers to pick up scrap in my area near victoria texas and have learned that not every thing people throw away is trash or junk and i've learned ways around the need ac lic to sell the copper cores and how you can take a cement mixer with time to polish your dirty copper , and brass to get better #1 price
Realy enjoy watching you mike have a beautiful and blessed holiday to you and wife and family
DANG, MIKE!!!
I sure could stand to stumble onto a dumpster like that one about right now!!! 😊
Make sure you unwrap those 5 rolls of quarters.........might be some more silver there :)
Then after checking them.........roll em all back up :D
Nah that isn't a flux capacitor that is a ghost trap from Ghostbusters.
Just remember the number one rule ..... DON'T cross the streams !! 😉👍
Best dumpster diving video yet!
Could've sold that corn dog..lol.. gotta admit I laughed my ass off when you said someone threw the little mermaid away.. hahahahaha..
Check the rolls, they might be silver too !!
Lllp+
You can also use a 2X4 about 8' long. One end on the ground and the other end on the tailgate, Make a ramp out of it a slide the AC unit up the board. This way you dont have to pick anything up. All the weight is on the 2X4...
And people wonder why we are having a coin shortage!! Lol
Most scrappers look at a dumpster and say "Money". You get to a dumpster and it literally has money. The scavenging gods smile upon you.
@mikethescavanger u should keep a small dolly with u I moved lot of fridges washers dryers n stuff and u can lean dolly back with what ev and makes it perfect height to slide in tail gate to truck bed
