I'm cringing every time you throw the possibly good items into the van! I'm saying, "Oh, be careful with the lamp! Be easy with the box of milk glass! Oh, don't break it!! Put the lamps and shades up front with you!" But you're not listening, Taco! LOL!! I would be excited to find that vintage lamp and shade...both lamps looked pretty neat from what I could see. The thing with pedals at the beginning was to exercise, I think. Pedal while you sit in a chair.
Debbi DeAnna - I'm with you when he just chucks valuable antiques into his van. Then I remember this is a small town and folks just aren't as educated as those of us who have seen much of the world. Oh well.
I think it would be interesting if you took some of those boxes that had ceramics and other stuff in it, grab what you could, and then open up the boxes and look at the stuff with us as a surprise box to see what you could sell at the flea market or online, etc. Why not take the whole box, it is packed up already with things to sell?

What hurt most were those audio cassettes. Some of those can be a lot more valuable than a sweater.
The Queen cassett alone is about $10
Surely I cant be the only one watching saying to the computer, "watch the lamp!" as Taco was loading up stuff.
The cycle is a sit and pedal exerciser, usually for older people.
Kitty Dayg yes it helps people who have had knee replacement surgery to get full bend and extension again.
Your load the truck game is improving. As for that last stop with all the boxes of stuff. I would have just grabbed it all. Since it's all boxed already, just sort through it while still in the van and donate what you don't want. Many a surprise treasure have been found in chachki boxes.
Yup, boxes of flea market finds, $20-$30 worth left behind.

That's why I said to sort through it and get rid of the unwanted stuff. Worse case scenario, it's all junk. 3 best things I have found in boxes full of junk that have been put in the trash are an old Omega Seamaster, Morgan silver dollar & a new, old stock Shure M3D cartridge with stylus in the box.
Thisisunreal - Yes for sure, found some valuable stuff myself 😎 bringing home surprise boxes can be fun too. I guess I'm in clearing space mode atm so only bring stuff I can flip quickly ☺

Taco alot of people collect angels and what nots-you should have grabbed that for the flea market.Your finds today were awesome.You should take xmas stuff too-people buy it year round.I know you don't sell in the winter around xmas but bet you alot would sell now.great video.Eating pizza every day is sure not healthy for you.

There is an app called Map My Ride, it is for cyclists but Scrap & Pallet Man uses it so he knows where he has been.

Pretty sure that box of mugs you picked up at 2:00 were all Gevalia. Would have definitely been worth it to pick them up.
That is a nice 1950's lamp .the black one with the fiberglass shade. Mid-century modern lamps sell well on eBay. those older shades a very hard to come by and it looked like you may have damaged it haphazardly . You find some good stuff.

Dude I've learned a lot of valuable information from watching your videos. When I find a piece of antique furniture that can't be restored, I'll take off any hardware I can to sell. I never thought about pulling knobs off of old appliances. Such a great tip. Keep up the awesome work. I commented on another video that I would buy that old licence plate if you want to sell it. It was a blue one. Anyways, I'm starting a collection after seeing your wall of plates so I would be happy to buy some if you come across any over there. Thanks

Where I live we are not allowed to just set whatever out like what I see here. We have one bin - and one recycle box. That's it. They won't accept anything else. We do occasionally set things out for scavengers, and they usually go pretty quickly. A lot of what I see today are things that could have been donated to resale shops.
What a great haul today so happy for you. Some days is a hit and some days are a miss but everyday you are saving things from going to the landfill. Five Stars for you!
Hopefully someday we subscribers will be abundant enough for you to afford a paved driveway and central air!💗

Great finds on this trip. The hardware and sandpaper were great.
The lamps are mid century and that shade is 50s. The plant stand is 70s.
You know that green lamp would look good in that brass plant stand base.

Also did you get the HI 8 camcorder if working they are worth some good money I sold one recently for $55.00 on Ebay.

I'm kind of shocked at this video. Taco makes his money at flea markets and he should know the values of items and keep up with current trends. Who doesn't know that mid-century modern is the hottest decor staple right now? All you have to do is open any magazine. Also, Avon has always been highly collectible. Not to mention get a GPS to be able to find your way around neighborhoods. Maybe this was an off day for Taco????

When I was a child back in the early sixties that little thing right there, it's blue handled to little tires kind of a plastic Dome on top sell great on eBay they go for about 30 bucks plus shipping those were the popcorn makers when I was a kid

Dude, you need to organize your building and do your own flea market or yard sale like once a month. Make it an event, get a couple food trucks to come in, maybe some baked goods, music...I would come up for that!

I doubt those lamps made it.
If I was in your town i would buy all the mowers and weedwackers from you, most the time it’s an easy fix to get them working again. And then it’s a lot of money!! You need to find someone that fixes them up and sell them to him. Could make a lot. There also not hard to fix. Can just buy a carburetor off amazon for 20$ and stick it on there and that’s a easy 100. But before spray gas or starter fluid or carb cleaner in the the old carb and see if it runs for a second, if it does it just needs a new carb. They also come with fuel lines and air filter and usually are about 15$ for everything.

Find out what that sliding cargo cover goes to and sell it. I used to work at a car and dealership and those things are expensive. It would be a waste to scrap it. It kind of looks like its from a Honda

I'm in Montgomery County and it's the same all in my area, people throw out all kinds of good stuff! I'm wondering if everyone else here does the same as I'm finding myself doing....I'm tilting my head, bending my neck, looking up and over objects to see what is in those piles of "trash" LOL. I am 36 mom of 2 great kiddos,and my 9 yr. old son likes to watch with me☺ I can't believe your areas put so much great "trash" out all the time. We only get maybe beginning & end of the yr. Spring/Fall clean outs or as we also like to call hippie or red neck Christmas😉 I love your thrifting videos as well, as I always go to a St. Vincent Dr Paul or Goodwill or we also have Savers stores. They are like small coffee joints for old ladies to catch up on gossip. The town i go, always have the same people lined up at the door to find new treasures☺ peace to you and take it easy. ~£rin. The camcorders go for like 80ish bucks depending on what it is....and you just left it. You grab pool noodles, but leave a camcorder.
90% of weedwhackers and mowers disposed of 'not working' usually only need air filter cleaned, spark plug cleaned or changed and fresh fuel. 10 minutes work will make 'junk' into profitable resalable working tools
I hope you investigated that fiberglass planter and stand (found with the lamp shade). It's a mid century modern bullet planter and they can fetch up to $150+.
I’ve seen other scrappers use things like a fitness app to track the streets were they have and have not been on in their “runs” for picking. Maybe something like that will help you be more efficient with your travels. Great finds!!! 💙💙💙
