In the transmission center we convert the E1 to Ethernet by a modem-coverter(E1-Ethernet) then we send the packet in two wire by SHDSL, in the client side we use other modem to extract the frame....two different type of modem, 1-one coverter and the 2-second modem for the exploration in the client onpromise.

yes, it's bidirectional converter. so, you can convert E1 to Ethernet as well as Ethernet to E1.You have to use pair converter.
