After owning the Scorpio you can never get adjusted to any other suv. Only an other Scorpio can be the upgrade. And many owners can agree with this including me(my family)

@@ayush885 mainly because it has created a cult and no of people following it particularly in northern states, when we had xylo people use to tell things that led to loss of confidence in our own car and met small accident that made us switch to the new Scorpio and we can't deny that people were not wrong because this car completes us just the way it looks or the size of the car make us feel we have something to be proud of.

I fairly admit that Scorpio classic is for those who have emotions to the og Scorpio as well as the bolero owners who wants to upgrade to the og Scorpio. But since same nameplate is producing under different segment and better practicality, I prefer to buy the ScorpioN petrol variant or the diesel 2nd variant and move forward. But for those who have nostalgic emotions they buy this bear every body roll and experience lack of technological features.

Years passed away but the scorpio is as young as ever. Abuse friendly, reliable and head turner even today.
The "dated" aspect is what makes this appealing. It uses very little electronics and uses the same old tried and tested parts. Easy and cheap to maintain too. Every SUV in its immediate competition are "modern" and stylish, but they break down a lot and always have electronic issues here and there.
That’s like saying you want substandard product for a higher price because nostalgia.

We in dilemma whether to go for N or go for classic(would have brought classic home if they had plonked the XUV 5OO's 155hp engine) and classic still edges over the N for us, will wait till N's facelift come out and they sort out all the niggles in next 2-3 years ,till then will continue to enjoy my current one which is still a joy to drive 😁

Our whole family is a scorpio lover when first scorpio was launched my dad bought it when another scorpio launched in 2006 with some changes my dad sold the old scorpio bought that and after that in 2014 when scorpio got major looks and interiors changed my dad bought that also now scorpio n is launched we booked and we are waiting for delivery as it has long delivery time i cannot wait to drive scorpio n 😍😍😍

The absolute crazy thing of this Scorpio is the design which is so far from being unbeatable that even Mahindra can't make better design than that and that's the reason Scorpio N doesn't look as good as the classic.
I don't understand, Scorpio N looks much more sophisticated than this, but people still like the old one.
@@ayush885 Because they grew up with it. For a lot of tier 2 and tier 3 townships the Scorpio is a premium car.
They don't feel the same way for the N because it has not even been on the roads for a good few months. I'd say give it time

Nah no way
Better get an NA engine for long term.
If you're not holding your car for an lifelong get an turbo engine for the fun.
Your main target is efficiency, long life, reliability, maintenance so your option cannot go wrong with a NA engine.
You will get 1.2 petrol and 1.5 diesel engine which are way more refined and better in reliability than 1.0 turbo engines.
As Hyundai's 1.0 l 3 cylinder turbo engine is paired with a imt or dct i can't guarantee you better experience than in owning a NA engine with a manual or imt gearbox or tc too.
The 1.0 L engine ain't bad either they are less expensive than NA engines but gives better fuel efficiency than NA engines a better performance kick.
But in the long term only NA engines will be reliable and way more refined to drive and easier to repair and own.
If you are price sensitive get the 1.0 with imt gearbox and you will be ok but if you really care about lower maintenance, no breakdowns or any sort of troubles get an NA engine.
As you're caring for long term ownership avoid dct gearbox get an manual or imt gearbox.
And actually 1.0 turbo engine from Hyundai is reliable too but not as good as compared to regular naturally aspirated engine.
If you're getting the 1.0 engine option keep your car well maintained, on time servicing and keep it in good shape and it will also be reliable in the long term.

Mahindra needs to hire a good seating designer immediately. Rest everything they have improved. From the launch of xuv 500 in 2011 people are complaining about seating arrangements. Even in 2022 their xuv 700 comes with the same mistakes. 2nd and thirdrow should come with recline adjustment and it should be set on rails so people can adjust legroom easily.xuv has a lot of space in 2nd row but 3rd row is really bad.
My dream vehicle but for now will wait for a much more improved Scorpio..I would say in terms of design and looks the Scorpio is much better looking than the Scorpio N.

Its crazy how this is more or less in the same ballpark as the ScorpioN Z4 4x4 (E) which has features like 60:40 split seat, 4wd, Hill start assist with a much more refined and powerful engine. As nostalgic as the S11 Classic is, I'd take the S4 4WD (E) over it anyday.
