Hey mate great vlog again. I was in Manila mid last year, there are good parts and plenty of bad parts ha ha. And omg when it rains it is so heavy and everywhere floods. Still mate i am sure you will have a great time in Philippines.

You will find paradise 45 minutes airplane trip from Manila. Fly to Cebu, Bantayan Island, Santa Fe. Thats real paradise on earth, and they have a pub street to MJ Square. When you are tired of Manila area 👌👌

Manila is a shock to the system Sean but there are lots of nice places there.The passenger jeeps are called jeep eys and the sidecar motorbikes are called trikes.Ive been out to the provinces are they are very normal.Being to Mindoro Island beside Manila and North of Manila to a place called Pangasinan home of the Hundred Islands.

I use a vest with many pockets and a full pocket in the back. Easily stuff 10 kilos of camera gear etc in it for the air Asia flights

looks like you are a few miles from Ermita, used to be the red light district now not sure what it is... iced mango juice (or a mango from the freezer not fridge) is the only thing I found that works against the diesel pollution, otherwise you end up with a cough that will make people think you have Covid. The cheap food is equivalent to Victorian gruel but some of the local fruit is excellent (hard to find a way to spoil it I guess) and most of the good rice is exported.
I am struggling with the food buddy, but found some good fruit from the market last night, Cheers

Always good value the travel days and this one , integrated with the Q & A right up there. That venture into Manila at the end of the video a taste of things to come and the funniest 10 minutes of your work yet. You've winged it, found a cheapish accommodation online and landed in one of those areas of Manila where tourists probably rarely venture , the poor and down and outers part of town. Keep safe, keep the cool, laugh and joke but importantly keep your wits about you with pick pockets around those sorts of areas and that includes the kids that could try and distract you. If you feel comfortable hanging around and making videos there I think we are going to have some really entertaining content ahead. Were those lady boys at the end there? Whatever, it was a laugh. Cheers buddy, stay safe and have fun and enjoy the substantial growth in the channel subscriber numbers and views which will be well deserved. Maybe put the country flag on the thumbnails which helps to attract viewers like a magnet 🤩

Because super sketch . I lived there for four years . Lived in a few little slummy type areas with $20/ month rooms etc... Seen and been through it all. Got chased out of a police station once guys came from back with machine guns and said it's time for me to go now etc on and on and on
@@SANGKAYFOODCHANNEL actually at the end when she was finally protected ( because of me) I went on my way . She now had a baby with a Pinoy and hopefully they stay together and have love and happiness together and stay far away from the many evil people of the Philippines. You don't know me or what or anything LOL . Maybe I will make a video about it someday for TH-cam .

Hello Sean, I never ever felt 'safe' when visiting and touring the Philippines! Don't know exactly why but? Some absolutely stunning ladies for sure, food not as good as Thailand, they use MSG in everything Beware! Cheers!

Was a shock to the system when I landed mate , the begging children and general look and feel of it , it completely changed when I flew out to Palawan , the people and scenery is similar vibes to Thailand 🇹🇭 , safe travels mate and watch for the kids , they distract you and pickpocket 🍻

R man, proper travel vlog! Just proper! And the Red Horse! Brings back some wicked memories man! Been 37 years ago since i last rode the Red Horse. It was in a place on H.M. Del Pilar Street, smack in the middle of the Ermita-Malate area, called ‘Raymond´s Fast Food’ and it was a classic dive in those days. It's long gone now. I think it burned down in the late eighties. Everybody who travelled to Manila back then ended up at Raymond´s at one point or another. Part hole-in-the-wall fast food restaurant, part beer bar, part pick-up joint, it was a really weird place. Sorry for going on about the old days, I just couldn’t help myself. Thanx for sharing! And skol!
