- Good morning, bangkok. I am so happy to be back after 2 years, but this time, i am not here just for a holiday . I decided to stay longer and travel around thailand on my own for the first time . nervous but exciting at the same time . I hope you enjoy my video . Thanks for watching.

I remember my first night in BKK after making the move. Laying in bed wondering what the hell have I done.
I was thinking about this on the plan 🤔. Then when i arrived and i was in the airport. All the happy feelings came straight back in my heart and soul . Then you know 100% how you feel . Follow your heart. It is always right . For me, anyway, gary 🙏😊😁
Welcome bro. First advice is a hat. You will need to drink around x2 what you are used to... Try to drink water. Dehydration is a risk. 7 11 sells hydration sachets called Royal. Maybe have half a saxhet in water every 2 or 3 days for electrolytes.
As you are aiming to eat healthier .. avoid 7 11 for food.
Have you tried fasting which means not eating for 16 hrs a day and restricting to eat 8 hours.
Vegetables and rice (small portion) with some protein a little fish etc.
I am drinking a lot of water . Luckily i love water . Definitely eating healthy as well . I love fresh food here .

Hi! Normally you can ask the girl in 7-11 for some coffee , They will make a coffee for you , 30 or 35 baht. drink a lot of water , it 's too hot now even for Thai people. Happy to see smile on your face . enjoy.

Welcome to this amazing land! So much to enjoy and experience. Came here from the U.S. with my Thai American wife of 15 years 3 years ago and we are never leaving. Just don’t drink too much or get caught up with the sketchy women from the entertainment zones. If you can do that you’re ahead of the game here and will do well! Best of luck from Hua Hin!

It took me a while to find a "decent" cheap coffee.Try the Superblend (red packet). You can get it loose,not sachets.It's as good as the Nescafe.

The hotel must be a drain on your finances. Get a plan, do your research and talk to other expats. For me Thailand is no longer the cheap retirement destination anymore

I wouldn't recommend drinking instant coffee as Thailand has a few cheap good coffee beans while in Thailand the Grab app is your friend. I order freshly made coffee to be delivered to me all the times.

Just a recommendation as I think we are in the same age (I'm 52) Thailand is not suitable for walking as the heat is unbearable even me as a local as well so most Thai get used to staying in the air con in the mall or at home all most all the time during the day and only come out to eat at night.
Yes We are similar age's . I have noticed this during the day . I am protecting myself but one reason why i go out during the day . So i can sweat 😓 a lot to lose weight 😁😁😁🙏
Mate quick question but where abouts exactly are you in this video. The road sign you walk past says Bangkok 46 away. I know the airport is actually quite far from the city and I figured you might be there but its only 30 away so just curious about your location
I am staying around the other side of Bangkok suvarabhumi International Airport. About 10 minutes away . Then i fly from here to phuket Airport. At the moment i am still in phuket.
I had a look on the maps . The area is called LAT KRABANG . I hope this is right 😁😁😁😊🙏
@@jay.b. Thanks mate ! It looked a very nice inexpensive place to stay. A nice airport hotel in London will run you over 200 quid, by my math you're paying just over 20 quid! Incredible value actually
@willsmith39 your welcome. I stayed in a hotel in london 2 years ago and yes depending on what you want 200 pounds + easy per night . The hotel prices are starting to come down more because the holiday season is finishing soon .
Probably need to lose 30kg.

Why are u staying at an airport hotel?
My reason for this ??? So i can decide where i would like to visit first . I have some friends here to visit as well . Travel without spending too much money . You will see in my videos where i am starting. Thank you 🙏 😊
