This is a fab recipe. Comes out extremely well when followed same ratios. Only thing is I substitute toor dal with val dal/bellar dal which is avarai paruppu as it is widely used in kongu belt. This adds to the taste 🎉

We eat first with a lot of ghee ..appalam is a must.. then with curd...we add ginger garlic paste... ofcourse there are various versions... Grandmas used to use avara paruppu instead tuvaram paruppu.. quite a nostalgic recipe..❤❤

Arisi with Avara paruppu gives the authentic taste...avoid Tomato ....can add coconut flower or in small pieces and also instead of adding pepper and Jeeragam...here a table spoon of milagai podi(homemade masala ) is added...in particular Spices like sombu, pattai, kirambu will not be added...
Tasting method Arisimparuppu rice with a tsp of Gingley oil or ghee at the top If needed side dish may be potato and brinjal poriyal For cooled rice( arina arisimparuppu sadham) add curd with pickle as side dish...it gives such an amazing taste
Hello Rakesh u must be knowing better than me don't ever use aluminium cooker if it s so. It's not good .use steel cooker. Ur mom must be having kal chatti manchatti enough pithalai pathram.this can be made in pathram or cooker . This is my kind advice not to u alone but all viewers
