2024 predictions: Vanquish will release upgrade kits containing metal axle housings for the Fordyce and Phoenix trucks. Axial will release a 1/10 scale trailer, or maybe a hardbody, I'm not sure. Element will release an RTR (and maybe a kit) LCG belly dragger. Traxxas will release more TRX4/TRX4M body options without doing any updates to their chassis.
The Germans are the craziest!!! While I was in the Keys, there was the world rc power boat races and the Germans had some of the craziest rc out there!!! 3 speed transmission in the boats +75 mph!!!! +6' in length. The construction Video's on TH-cam are awesome. Almost all the machines we use onsite they have in RC.
Traxxas will release a TRX4 Ultimate edition with most of their TRX4 hopup parts installed - as a bonus point it will either be a bodypin-less Defender or a new design licensed shell. Also Element will release a 4 wheel steer 1/10 buggy type crawler
For 2024, I think VP will have some updates/refreshes to the Phoenix body, like new colors. I can see Element with a refreshed/updated Enduro platform for the RTR market. I think we will see a new higher Kv all in one Fusion style setup or maybe even a 4s version of that (not necessarily just from Hobbywing). Looking forward to new products from Reefs (motors?)! 2024 RTR count of 122. Let's have a great year!

I can't believe I was that close with my guess on new releases. It was more of a wild hope to have that many new RC'S released into the hobby, but the more, the better. I sure purchased a few of those new releases. Thank you Josh for a great show.
My daughter wants to add that she thinks Kyosho will have some nice new scale cars.... she likes some of the classic ones. She thinks 135 RTRs. She also likes seeing new motors from Holmes Hobbies.
I don't think I could make another prediction like last year but maybe I'll just predict an idea. Vanquish releases non-metal versions of their wheels that will be compatible with all current hardware, rings, and hubs. Open the market to a budget friendly scale wheel option
Rlaarlo is a company originally known for releasing very small-scale, rebranded RCs followed by (last year) their release of two inexpensive (but high quality), in-house developed/manufactured, on-road RC's primarily aimed at speedrunners. My prediction for 2024 Is that they will release a 1/6 and/or 1/7 scale vehicle(s), designed to compete against the Arrma & Hobao speed run vehicles.
The SCX24 lineup is going to get updated this year. New electronics, colors of current models, added brushless options and a new more comp style release. Maybe a whole new 24th scale platform from axial.
My magic 8 ball says there will be 113 RTRs in 2024 with a large portion being small scale crawlers. Lots of 1/18 and 1/24 coming this year including Vanquish releasing a small scale crawler to appease Josh's latest obsession with small scale crawling.
I'm going to predict that there will be at least 100 new RTR's again next year. Also, I'm going to predict that Vanquish is going to bring back the Ripper. I know I'm dreaming but if your going to dream, dream big. Give me one more chance to get a Ripper!. I have a separate account just for the possibility that the ripper comes back. Associated’s Seven reference seems to be more for the RC10 B7. They released a video on the new B7 and why it wasn’t just a revision like a B6.5. But, it could be the 1/7 Hoonigan is also released with the Seven theme….
I think 2024, will be the year of the 1/24, 1/18th scale segment of our hobby. It helps ease the cost of entry for those just getting into the hobby, and they will appeal to the old guard, as they will by easier to house and travel with than the usual go to of 1/10th scale.

Element will release a flat rail comp chassis kit or rtr. Vanquish will do a scale puck up, hardbody, with interior, scale motor cover, with possibly new tire and rim release, and may even be a licensed body.
I feel like we are due for a resurgence of 2.2 crawler releases. Maybe another proper rock racer/U4 rig (not the super scale detailed and fragile kind).

I bet Vanquish releases a Volvo licensed drift crawler! - first three hour guess. Yearly prediction- there will be another 6th scale announced. More New Licensed bodies will update current platforms. Traxxas will put out an updated trx4, like a trx4 v2. Vanquish is gonna kill it again with an awesome launch or 2, especially in the tire market!
traxxas trx-4m 79’ Blazer/Bronco are a good possibility in my opinion as a one off separate prediction because it would be just my luck i bought an scx6 so that mean traxxas will come out with a 1/6 crawler just to make me spend more money.
I think we are going to see an uptick in 1/8th scale crawler in the US. It seems to be a very popular scale elsewhere. I also think we are going to see a new RC company come into the mix. With Horizon hobby still in shambles, it would make sense to see a new company take advantage of the opportunity.
Prediction; for Elements sake I hope they quit coasting off the Enduro straight axle design and innovate with a V2 upgraded with some portal axles possibly a flatrail chassis design and a forward motor mount. Element has been stagnant since the release of the gatekeeper everything else has just been body changes. Let’s see a 10.3 competitor with inner fenders and more scale body or a performance rig. Do something Element!

Huge unimog fan! Built a unimog scx10 years back and I’m currently working on my latest build, a trx6 unimog… Can’t really bite that 3k price though. Looks rad!
Prediction: Traxxas will release a 1979 Bronco and/or a Sport version for the TRX4M high trail. An IFS kit will be available for the TRX4M. Just like how mini solid axle monster trucks were all custom then manufactures started making them, prerunners/trophy trucks will become more popular in custom builds and make it to the smaller scales, 1/24 and 1/18.
I think with axial release of the CJ 7 that they will also release one and 24th and 6 scale ! And vanquish comes out with the 24th scale builders kit !
An SCX6 kit and an aftermarket hard body so that we can have a large scaler and hopefully traxxas and other brands will follow (in kit form pls, we are hobbyists)
Redcat is going to release a few body options for the Cab over hualer to support the lowrider scene. Team Associated will have 2 or 3 updated RTRs (hopefully a comp style rig). Traxxas will continue producing it's unchanged TRX4 1/10 platform (bodies, clips, and lifts don't count) (getting long in the tooth and now competeing with cheap nearly identical foreign knockoffs, so I hope I'm wrong on this one).

Class zero comps with loose running rules will become super popular. The truck has to be class zero correct but loose rules as in not counting reverses and lowering the cost of a scale recovery points.

Traxass is on a tear with the "Ultimate" additions to it's lineup. They will come out with both a TRX-4 and a TRX-4m Ultimate edition. They will have a unique body but everything will be traxass off the shelf "upgrade" parts. The 1/10 will be $750 and the 1/18 will be $420
I would predict that losi comes out with a promoto2 with different styled riders and body work and/or one of their competitors comes out with a very competitive dirt bike to challenge the losi promoto. Or to be really wild and out there, maybe losi will make a conversion kit for the promoto to replace the rear wheel with an axle and make it a promoto 3 wheeler.
I think the Capra will get a re vamp for the buggy side of crawling or even a 1/6th Capra since a tube chassis just came out for the 1/6th scale by RCspeedy I feel like a few other companies will push the same with how popular they have got. I also think the U4 scene is going to get bigger as well. I have a few other predictions but it’s to many to think of right now😂 I guessed way off for the rtr count I believe I was around high 60’s. But this year I’m going to say around 98 I don’t think it will be as many this year but hopefully I’m wrong and there is more.
My prediction will be redcat releasing another rc lowrider, possibly a bed dancer truck. Also vanquish releasing an affordable ripper chassis in an rtr or kit form.
My predictions are 97 RTRs this year. I also think that Element will release a flat rail chassis rig but carry over the same axles and Josh will still not be impressed with and RC4WD will release a rig that will catch us all off guard and we will be impressed with it.
I agree with the Element comp release as well. Team Associated and their parent company seems really nimble and can sit back and take a wait and see strategy and then respond quickly
Early morning crew here Predicting VP to Refresh on pro, ultra, phoenix kits(riot wheels, Falken tires and other parts). Axial will fully kill the 10.2 platform Traxxas will have just release new bodies for trx4 and M. 105 RTR's
My prediction is that traxxas will release a totally new performance crawler platform in one tenth scale different to the trx4. Most probably rtr, but may also drop a builders kit version.
My predictions are traxxas will release a TRX4 Ultimate. Losi will release a street bike. Axial will do an rtr 10 pro that will be priced slightly less than the vrd rtr. Axial should do a yeti 2.0 but doubt that will happen.
#Dentside releases is all I care about. Would like to see big companies offer rtr kits without electronics, or atleast offer brushless sytems. Get with the times rc is the only industry stuck in the 1980s.
Im going to say 92 RTR’s for 2024. As well as i think axial will come out with a flat rail 1/24 to grow attention back to the little guys as well as axial will release a few 1/10 RTR’s but for once its not another jeep!!
Vanquish will release a 1/18 or 1/24 scale RTR. Might be a ripper? Not sure. Also the ripper in development will come out as an RTR, if it's plastic that's okay, if it's aluminum, I'll probably end up divorced but I'm buying one.
I think we’ll see a lot more of the smaller scale crawlers come out this year, and more releases in the 1/8 scale or 1/6 from different companies. I think we’ll see more haulers being brought out too, but especially with the lowrider scene growing more and more.
My guess is that Axial will release the UMG10 on the SCXIII chassis and portalaxels. The UMG10 didn't exist that long and when those outside Europe realized what kind of body it was. Had Axial stopped selling it. During 2023, there have been several Unimog models, both licensed and unlicensed. This makes me believe that Axial will release it again. Niklas, Sweden 🇸🇪 🤘😎🤘🏁
personally, I think the tow dolly is pretty cool, but a bit too expesive and I'm not sure it would be usable because the wheels are so small! for the prediction, I think that a big name brand (traxxas, axial, other) will release a amphibious truck similar to a sherp. I have other predictions but this one is almost a wish.
Got 2 guesses on the vanquish release. I predict vrd hinge body mounts for the phoenix /fordyce body or they putting out a moon buggy . I'm calling it!
My predictions for 2024 r. Vanquish comes out with a 1/24 scale. may have two diff variations vrd flat rail and vfd to replicate 1/10. I think vanquish will also come out with whole new truck platform. Like vfd but diff. VSP. Vanquish scale platform or products. Will have leaf springs. also Be largest growing rc company for 2024. I also believe Traxxas will come out with a new platform diff from TRX4 but still crawler. I think axle will also come out with a new platform, alongside the SCX. Being vague but I bet another company finally comes out with something to compete against the scx6. Chinese companies coming out with metal bodied rtrs. everything is going scale direction.

I predict that Traxxas will release a TRX6M based on the TRX4M.
I predict Traxxas will release the TRX4M blazer and Bronco. I also predict a new 1/6 crawler….hopefully Traxxas!! Maybe a complete surprise with a 1/6 vanquish phoenix!!
Traxass is on a tear with the "Ultimate" additions to it's lineup. They will come out with both a TRX-4 and a TRX-4m Ultimate edition. They will have a unique body but everything will be traxass off the shelf "upgrade" parts. The 1/10 will be $750 and the 1/18 will be $420
I would predict that losi comes out with a promoto2 with different styled riders and body work and/or one of their competitors comes out with a very competitive dirt bike to challenge the losi promoto. Or to be really wild and out there, maybe losi will make a conversion kit for the promoto to replace the rear wheel with an axle and make it a promoto 3 wheeler.
We're definitely going to see a leaf spring truck from Vanquish or I'll eat my hat!
I think the Capra will get a re vamp for the buggy side of crawling or even a 1/6th Capra since a tube chassis just came out for the 1/6th scale by RCspeedy I feel like a few other companies will push the same with how popular they have got. I also think the U4 scene is going to get bigger as well. I have a few other predictions but it’s to many to think of right now😂 I guessed way off for the rtr count I believe I was around high 60’s. But this year I’m going to say around 98 I don’t think it will be as many this year but hopefully I’m wrong and there is more.
My prediction will be redcat releasing another rc lowrider, possibly a bed dancer truck. Also vanquish releasing an affordable ripper chassis in an rtr or kit form.
My predictions are 97 RTRs this year. I also think that Element will release a flat rail chassis rig but carry over the same axles and Josh will still not be impressed with and RC4WD will release a rig that will catch us all off guard and we will be impressed with it.
I agree with the Element comp release as well. Team Associated and their parent company seems really nimble and can sit back and take a wait and see strategy and then respond quickly

Got my new crossRC UMG on Friday!
My prediction is that traxxas will release a totally new performance crawler platform in one tenth scale different to the trx4. Most probably rtr, but may also drop a builders kit version.
My predictions are traxxas will release a TRX4 Ultimate. Losi will release a street bike. Axial will do an rtr 10 pro that will be priced slightly less than the vrd rtr. Axial should do a yeti 2.0 but doubt that will happen.
#Dentside releases is all I care about. Would like to see big companies offer rtr kits without electronics, or atleast offer brushless sytems. Get with the times rc is the only industry stuck in the 1980s.

Im going to say 92 RTR’s for 2024.
As well as i think axial will come out with a flat rail 1/24 to grow attention back to the little guys as well as axial will release a few 1/10 RTR’s but for once its not another jeep!!
Vanquish will release a 1/18 or 1/24 scale RTR. Might be a ripper? Not sure. Also the ripper in development will
come out as an RTR, if it's plastic that's okay, if it's aluminum, I'll probably end up divorced but I'm buying one.
I think we’ll see a lot more of the smaller scale crawlers come out this year, and more releases in the 1/8 scale or 1/6 from different companies. I think we’ll see more haulers being brought out too, but especially with the lowrider scene growing more and more.
My guess is that Axial will release the UMG10 on the SCXIII chassis and portalaxels. The UMG10 didn't exist that long and when those outside Europe realized what kind of body it was. Had Axial stopped selling it. During 2023, there have been several Unimog models, both licensed and unlicensed. This makes me believe that Axial will release it again.

Element will release a flat rail lcg kit, followed by a lcg, flat rail rtr with a brushless system.
Happy New Year! FMS will release 1/10 scale Series II Landrover and a Toyota lc70 or 80 on a longer chassis .

personally, I think the tow dolly is pretty cool, but a bit too expesive and I'm not sure it would be usable because the wheels are so small!
for the prediction, I think that a big name brand (traxxas, axial, other) will release a amphibious truck similar to a sherp. I have other predictions but this one is almost a wish.
My prediction is Redcat releases a new solid axle monster truck based on the 1/8 Marksman axles to compete with the Losi.

Got 2 guesses on the vanquish release. I predict vrd hinge body mounts for the phoenix /fordyce body or they putting out a moon buggy . I'm calling it!

My predictions for 2024 r. Vanquish comes out with a 1/24 scale. may have two diff variations vrd flat rail and vfd to replicate 1/10. I think vanquish will also come out with whole new truck platform. Like vfd but diff. VSP. Vanquish scale platform or products. Will have leaf springs. also Be largest growing rc company for 2024.
I also believe Traxxas will come out with a new platform diff from TRX4 but still crawler.
I think axle will also come out with a new platform, alongside the SCX.
Being vague but I bet another company finally comes out with something to compete against the scx6.
Chinese companies coming out with metal bodied rtrs. everything is going scale direction.
