    Como tomo and philips advent warmer are kino combo thank you for the video. Helped me a ton the first night with my newborn. Had to run to target twice because I bought the Dr browns gift set and the warmer was bad quality and made the milk scolding hot. Returned and bought this and are set. Baby's eating now and we are releived. Thank you for the video!

    Thank you for this video! Is it okay for the bottle to sit on the floor of the warmer? I have been filling the warmer up with enough water to make the bottle float.

    We use the Como tomo bottles and just purchased a Philips advent warmer...I'm struggling with the amount of water to add with the como tomo bottle, we find it very hard to see/check whether the amount of water matches the milk level in the bottle given the much wider shape of the como tomo bottle. You skipped that part, curious if you have any tips or have the same struggles.

    Was the milk in your tests on room temperature before warming?
    How does it work for you with milk out of the fridge?
    I tried to use it with a glass Dr Brown's bottle and the results are dissapointing, the milk was boiling hot one time, while other time it was cold.

    • @NewParentsInTraining
      @NewParentsInTraining  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used cold milk out of the fridge to do the review. I haven't tried glass bottles before, but with Como Tomo the results were always the same.

    • @komarats
      @komarats ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, maybe the temperature sensor in mine is faulty, or I just need to figure it out.
      Have you tried warming larger quantities (4oz), were the results good as well?

    • @NewParentsInTraining
      @NewParentsInTraining  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes since baby is now requiring more milk, we are warming 4 oz or more nowadays. We havent seen any issues.

  • @andrewt3370

    Had to return mine. I was trying to use it for a week but with no avail. I was putting Dr Brown bottles in it. 70 ml of milk either from fridge or ready made formula. Pure water into the thing and In both cases after 1 cycle bottle would be warm from the outside but fairly cold inside. So had to do another cycle every time. Tried few times gave up and returned it. I see a lot of reviews and comments either saying very good things about it or like me saying that it doesn't do what it promises. Because it takes 8 min or more to warm the milk up. I don't know if Phillips has some issues with quality control. Or there is something I do wrong.

      Same here

    • @nomadempiretv
      @nomadempiretv 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exact same problem! Using refrigerated breast milk. After one cycle the bottle is warm from the outside but still not warm enough inside, if I offer it to the baby it makes him scream his lungs out. If I have to run the machine again, baby has been yelling full blast for almost 10 minutes and us parents are getting frantic… basically, make sure you start this unit 15-20 minutes before your baby gets hungry, if you can!

      I think it works better for certain types of bottles. We use the wide philips bottle and it works perfectly. Probably has to do with the surface area versus longer and skinnier bottles.

      Opposite problem, always way to hot. Tested the milk it was at 52 celcius

    I got a question. Is it true that you had to wait 60 min to warm the Baby food? Even if it has not been in the refrigerator?

    • @NewParentsInTraining
      @NewParentsInTraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      That will be way too hot. About 10 minutes max and depending on the amount of food, but no where near 60 minutes.

    Hi there. Is this comotomo bottle anti colic? My daughter is 2 months old and she's lactose intolerant, and the doctor preferred formula milk. So it would be very helpful if you can give me this information. Thanks.

      Looks like you are going with just formula, then go with babybrezza instant warmer, here is our review, th-cam.com/video/Dz6IN4DcJp4/w-d-xo.html, and here is the link to amazon amzn.to/3T71Cqq. It's the most accurate in term of water temperature. If you want something that can do it all, you can go with grownsy or acekool, here are our reviews, th-cam.com/video/4f2n40cF1KA/w-d-xo.html, & th-cam.com/video/YjhVNfxCcQA/w-d-xo.html. amazon links are as follow, amzn.to/3ShhrLj & amzn.to/3TZEb34. These ones can do warming bottle, warming baby food and even sterilize bottle.
