    I bought the shadow express back around the time they came out for less than a C-note You definitely DO NOT want a detonation or dieseling; My own did that once about 8-10 years ago and it completely blew out the breech seal and the plastic shells rim was gone, no harm to the gun, but I'm glad no one was to my sides! I have thought about modding my Hatsan 30 cal springer for shot, lol

      Wow, thanks for the info. Many people want to think that dieseling is a good thing because it increases velocity. Thanks for helping people understand the potential risks associated with it, whether accidental or intentional.

    I received my Gamo Viper Express yesterday and I just killed a Red Squirrel from 20 feet on my deck with the Gamo factory shell.
    I have 10 pounds of old #8 shot and that's what I'll use to reload. I'll try your system and the hole punch egg carton system.
    I'll use the Gamo VE to eliminate the Red Squirrel infestation in my woods, but still use the 20ga. with #6 for larger game at longer distances. I don't want to chance wounding a game animal with the Gamo.

    In my personal experiment... I have exchanged barrels from my Gamo Express shotguns, to my whisper fusion pro & my Gamo Big Cat 1400... As I suspected... The bigger, mush stronger 33mm powerplant of the Gamo whisper fusion pro & B.C.1400 produced an average of 967- 980 fps across my chronograph from these little Gamo shotshells...& a HUGE increase in effective shot range.(20 yards).. a tighter pattern at longer distances with noticeable better penetration....

    These are hard to come by sometime I have had my gun for over 15 years now I wish I still had the shell for the 22cal pellet that the gun came with. Someone did make the shells and sold them by 20 pack in aluminum and he put number 7or9 shot bbs reload he used wax to seal the ends wish those were available also. So you don't have any waste.🤔👌✌️👍 Would be nice to get some machine out.

    • @AlsAirguns
      @AlsAirguns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It really depends on your needs. For snakes, mice, sparrows and such inside buildings & the back yard it's very effective. For anything larger you need to use pellets. It can fire both but pellets are tough to aim with the bead site. I'm going to mount a red-dot on mine and see how she does.

    • @AlsAirguns
      @AlsAirguns  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I get mine from Pyramyd Air. The cost is $7.95 for a box of 25. I usually order in conjunction with other things to get free shipping. When I estimate shipping to me for one to four packs it's the same $8.95 charge. So if I was just ordering shells I'd take advantage of their 4 for the price of 3, where you pay for 3 packs and get the 4th free. That way it would be $7.95 x 3 + 8.99 shipping = $32.84 for 100 rounds or approximately 33 cents a round.
