This is wonderful Kay, thank you for sharing this, along with all the brilliant talent, always such a sweet and well-mannered gentleman : ) {Not to mention, incredibly cute as well} ♥
IVE BEEN A FAN OF DAVID BOWIE SINCE 69 WHEN SPACE ODDITY CAME OUT. I COULD SEE HIS OTHERNESS AND UNIQUE STYLE OF SINGING. I STILL LOVE HIM EVEN THOUGH HE ISNT WITH US HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMBERED AS A HUMEROUS, HELPFUL , SWEET PERSON.
It says this interview was uploaded on August 8, 2011, yet the topic of 9 / 11 is discussed as a past event. Obviously this interview occurred in 2012 or later. Is it possible to correct the accompanying note to show a more accurate time stamp. It is an interesting conversation.
things were just starting to catch up to him by then, his cheeks developed that bulldog cleaver look as a late middle aged man There were no music videos for heathen
@@andalltheangelssay212 he became gun shy to put his face in front of the camera by around heathen, he thought he looked too old in that video. Music Videos at that time (2002) still put a face to the name, whereas nowadays its not so important He did have a second wind for videos for Reality, he even made a short film (for 4 songs) for it, and that was it
I think (looks absolutely fantastic. And I do not think that's why he didn't do a bunch of videos. I don't think he had any reason not to be very proud of how handsome he was.
A serious drug addiction in his younger years and still smoking heavily into his mid 50s causes that sunken look. Still handsome but biologically he was already an old dude, hence his heart attack a year or so later. Chronologically he was middle aged but his life style fast forwarded him to premature old age. Even his voice sounded older, compared to how stunning he looked and sounded at his 50th birthday party, he seemed to age a lot and settled for a conventional look after that. It's interesting that Mick Jagger has the outlook of a much younger man even now whereas Bowie had settled for being an old man in his 50s, sad really, always hated that flat cap he wore in his later years, proper old man attire ....
DavidBowie was a very articulate person, and intelligent but I would have liked to have a religious conversation with him. I think k he was confused about God.
Not only was Bowie super talented, he was very very smart. This interview supports that.
